Sunday Snapshot 003.

001. This is an old photograph of me and the boy but I haven't been able to stop looking at it lately. We haven't been able to see each other for far too long now, so this and skype is the closest I can get at the moment. I get a lot of questions asking why we bother with long distance and all I can say is, I know I'm only 21 but he's the boy I'm going to marry one day. So why would we give up on forever?

002. Ralphie has well and truly hit the toddler stage! I need to get him some more toys and chewy bits because although he has lots, he wants to be active all the time. If I could have him out all the time I would, but for the time he has to be in his cage I don't want him to be bored. If you've had a bunny before and know of any toys that yours really seemed to like then please let me know!

003. I'm currently putting off my Open University essay. I really need to get on with it but it's just not interesting me. Unfortunately this first course seems to be a mish mash of different specialisms, which would be great if I didn't already know the degree path I want to take after. I guess I've just got to stop complaining and get on with it. It's only 1000 words so it shouldn't take too long.

004. My giveaway went up yesterday & I'm pretty much up to date with all entries so far. I've had a couple of entries that either didn't contain the right information or from people who weren't following my blog, so if you don't see your comment there it might be worth re-posting if you still want to enter. Please make sure you've read the rules & are actually following my blog.

Have a lovely Sunday afternoon everyone, and Happy Halloween.
xoxo

  1. That photo is absolutely beautiful! It must be really hard not being with each other all the time, don't let people's comments about the distance issue bring you down though. You know how you feel and that's the important thing :)

I got engaged when I was only 18 and we'd been together two months, and over a year on we're still inseparable - nobody can tell you how you feel.

    Hope you're well lovely.

  2. My rabbits really like these:

They like getting the treats out of the middle and they can still pick them up and throw them when they've eaten it :)

  6. I concur with those above me: it's a beautiful photograph! Kudos to you guys for making it work long distance. I've tried and it isn't an easy feat. I like your attitude on forever. I think the pessimistic "why bother" attitude is how a lot of long distance relationships begin to unravel.

  17. That photo is gorgeous :). The wait will be worthwhile :).

As for your adorable bunny - how about stuffing a toilet tube or similar with some treats or hay, or even better both? I know for guinea pigs some people get a miniture sock dryer thing (you know the round things) and clip various veggies on it...so its kind of a game to play.I got one from IKEA for about £2. I think there are various forums online that have heaps of ideas for things to do :)

  20. Long distance is the hardest thing but it's so worth it when it's with the person you know your going to spend forever with.
I know how you feel and I can say that and mean every word because Rob is in California, 8 hour time difference and it's awful when we're apart but worth every minute when we're together.
Just look forward to the day where you won't have to worry about when you next see him again, it's going to be amazing!

  21. Good luck with the OU work (: Ignore people that doubt your relationship. I'm in a relatively long distance relationship too and people don't seem to understand the pain that comes with it. Keep smiling (:

  22. What a beautiful photograph! Who are other people to say what you should and shouldn't do? It's your life, and I love your outlook on your relationship. I think you're proof that a LDR can work! Stay happy honey :) xoxo
