These aren’t technically jeggings, they’re called super skinny jeans and to be perfectly honest I never though I would own a pair of those. It’s clear to see that I’m not slim and I’m perfectly okay with that, although I did smile to myself in the fitting room when I found that a size 14 in super skinny jeans is actually a little too big. That doesn’t happen, ever. I’m sure it’s just generous sizing, I know in my head that vanity sizing is rife, but I’m not going to lie and say that it didn’t make me feel good about myself. Over the past couple of months I’ve actually put on about 7 pounds so it’s good to know I’m not as big as my mind seems to think I am. I’m not usually a sucker for good marketing but it got me this time! We all need a confidence boost every now and again though, right?!
This shirt is actually supposed to be a nightshirt but it’s the perfect length for me to wear with leggings or my new jeggings! Don’t worry your eyes are safe from being thoroughly offended by my thighs! I’m a walking advert for George today! I’m even wearing my new George disc earrings I showed in this post although my hair is doing a super good job of hiding them.
I have no explanation as to what I’m doing in the picture on the right. I look kind of angry for some reason and posing like a superhero would as they’re just about to fly off to do something important. I wasn’t angry. I’m definitely not a superhero. And sadly I can’t fly. But I wish I could!

Make up & beauty wise there are a few products I’ve absolutely loved over the past couple of weeks! Oilatum moisturiser has saved my skin & I think I love it a little bit more than any of my creams from Neal’s Yard because my skin has been super dry recently and this has really soothed it and calmed it down.
A second new love is Face & Body foundation from MAC and I have this in the shade C1. I have a huge thank you to give to Lucy for offering to send me her unwanted bottle because I probably would have put off purchasing a bottle for ages because it’s quite pricey. I do find myself using quite a lot of this every time I apply it, as an example when I’m using Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation I’ll only need to use one pump, but I’d say with the Face & Body I use the equivalent of 2 or sometimes 3 pumps. You get 120ml of product in a bottle though so that doesn't matter too much to me! It’s a sheer foundation but it is buildable and it has a beautiful dewy finish that seems to make my concealer apply much better and my face never looks cakey which is brilliant. Photographs tend make my skin look better than it really is, I’m not completely confident with the way my skin looks so if you feel the same, don’t be put off by all reviews of Face & Body being super sheer. If you want to try it, I’d definitely recommend it!
NARS Douceur is my new favourite blusher. I’ve mentioned before that this wouldn’t have been a colour that I would have picked out for myself but when I won Karleigh’s giveaway I was so happy to receive this because it’s gorgeous and I haven’t worn another blush all week which is rare for me! It just goes with every single look & it gives you that healthy glow that I always crave!
On a side note, how big do my cheekbones look when I pin my fringe back?! Woah! Also I’m trying to learn to embrace my larger than average forehead. So far I’m not keen but I must say it’s nice not having hair in my eyes all the time!
Have you recently started wearing something you never thought would suit you? I was never a jeans person until now! They won't be replacing my pretty dress addiction but sometimes they're more practical!
