I'm not a fan of grocery shopping. No matter what time or day I go there are always people pushing me out of the way, screaming children running around and trolleys blocking the aisles. All of that combined with constantly being temped by the cakes and crisps, it's safe to say that it's not a fun experience! My local Asda has quite a nice selection of clothing, shoes & accessories at really affordable prices so unsurprisingly I always manage to find myself wandering towards that section. Oops!
I have to admit, the jewellery they have isn't often my taste but when I was there a few days ago I found myself wanting one of almost everything! Two pairs of earrings particularly caught my eye and they found their way swiftly into my basket. The best part? They only cost £7 & I do love a bargain!
The first pair I picked up are these beautiful pale peachy-pink & gold disc earrings and I'm in love with them. They're heavier than the earrings I'm used to but they're not super heavy which is good & they're big enough to show through my long hair. I can see me wearing these a lot this spring & summer and I think they'll go with a lot of my dresses. I'm super excited for the summer already and for £2 I couldn't not purchase them!
The second pair are my absolute favourites, as soon as I saw them I knew I had to have them. I'm sure the pale pink feathers are going to get a little tatty looking super quickly but I just love them! The copper & silver feather charms are super cute yet the mixture of metals is unexpected & it's something a little bit different. These were a little bit more expensive but they were still only £5 and I know I'll wear them a lot!
