Monday Lust List 004.

1. As someone who seems to suffer almost daily with ridiculously tired looking eyes no matter how much sleep I've had, eye bright from Benefit is a product that really intrigues me. The pale pink colour suggests to me that it actually might work & could be a good investment.

2. I saw this Stila One Step Correct serum in boots the other day and it really caught my attention. It looks pretty darn beautiful in the bottle but I have no idea whether it actually works. I've often found these coloured primers don't really do anything at all in evening out the skintone like they promise to do. Maybe I've just been expecting too much from them?

3. I need this jacket in my life. It's gorgeous and would be so so so perfect for the autumn!

4. I never normally find much that I love in Dorothy Perkins but this tunic is so so pretty. It would look super cute paired with thick leggings, boots & a chunky knit cardigan in the autumn and just with a pair of jeggings & flats in the summer. I'm really tempted to purchase this beauty!

5. Another product that has always intrigued me are the Bobbi Brown correctors. I live nowhere near a Bobbi Brown counter so I have no idea which colour I'd need to get but my under eye circles need some serious help! Is it worth the money?

6. With autumn and winter fast approaching I'm going to need to invest in a pair of wellies. The winters here in Derbyshire are much harsher than the winters I'm used to having lived in Bournemouth all of my life. It's not going to help that I now live on a hill so I predict many fallings over and bruised knees in my future. Of course, me being me, I don't just want ordinary wellies. Nope, I want to go the whole 9 yards and get a pair of Hunters. Why can't I just be lusting over cheap ones? Silly me! I really love the Aubergine colour but I think this duck egg shade is my absolute favourite. Aubergine would probably be more practical though, wouldn't they? Oh decisions! Either way, they're pricey. Oh dear.

What are you lusting over at the moment? Have you purchased or tried any of the items on my lust list? If you have, please let me know what you thought of them in the comments below!
xoxo

  5. Love that Dorothy Perkins number! And I will vouch for bobbi brown correctors - I have really really awful under eyes and it definitely does help, but you really do need to go to an actual counter and get matched I don't think there's any way you could try to match yourself :/

  6. I've been lusting over a pair of hunters too! I'm sick and tired of the cheap wellies that I buy splitting and ripping as soon as I look at a field. I really want the bright red ones though! I've found that the best way of not falling over in snow is a good pair of walking boots... best pair of shoes I own plus warm with a pair of walking socks!

  8. Ooh I saw that Stila One Correct thing and thought it was so cool. I pumped a bit on to my hand and it came out exactly how it looks in the bottle! It just felt like any other primer though so I don't think it's worth the money xx

  9. Ooh I want the Stila serum too! I'm not gonna lie, it's 100% just because of how beautiful it looks in the bottle haha!

I also have Eye Bright & I use it on the inner & outer corners of my eyes to open them up & make them look more awake :)

  10. I have Eyebright from the Glamour freebies last year and I never reach for it as I don't think it does much! A light coloured eyeshadow does a better job.

  11. you should get that tunic, its really lovely. i can't recommend the bobbi brown correctors enough. its the only product that actually gets rid of my dark circles. no amount of concealer is as good as just a couple of dabs of these correctors xx

  15. I got my Hunters (which my Mum gave me the money for as a birthday present) from TK Maxx for £39.99; I wore them on Saturday and they are SO comfy and well worth the money, only had cheap wellies before that rubbed and they are definitely a false economy, so glad I took the plunge and asked for them as a present!
Also that coat is gorgeous, and so perfect for autumn, wish I had a spare £100 kicking around to buy that little beaut!xxx

  16. I found a Benefit Eye Bright in my massive box of make up and didn't even know I owned it.. It was very confusing. Anyway, I've used it a couple of times and quite like it but prefer the liquid concealers I own x

  17. Don't waste your money on the Stila One Step Correct. I own it right now and it's really not anything amazing. I've found primers of the same quality for like, 1/3 the price.

  18. Bobbi Brown is fantastic and always worth the money. Go for it :)

  21. Oooh that Stila serum thing looks so exciting! I think I'm lusting after it now too lol!
Also, that jacket is GORGEOUS, so perfect for Autumn x

  22. I own the bobbi brown corrector in light bisque (my skin in MAC would be NC 15/20) and I use it for my undereye circles. I absolutely love it!!! it's very creamy and quite thick, so you really do have to pat it on...no rubbing *gg*
    But I really think it's a great product....makes my circles dissapear :-)

  23. I'm selling my Aubergine Hunters on ebay at the moment as I bought some of the black boa ones on brandalley - may be worth a look on there as I think the Hunter sale's still on. I really liked my Aubergine ones but then I bought a khaki parka and didn't like how they looked together!

  24. I got my canary yellow Hunters at an off-retail store for $60 Canadian, which was an absolute steal. I've also seen them turn up at Winners (the Canadian version of Tj/Tkmaxx), for around $100. For reference, they retail for about $150 at local shoe stores. So keep an eye out for bargains on Hunters, they're out there to be had! PS about the Eye Bright, I always found the texture difficult to work with. I really wanted to love it, too. Boo.

  25. Hiya! I just saw this and thought I should let you know that i'm selling a benefit eyebright that's been used a couple of times only! http://hazzaapee.blogspot.com/2011/08/blog-sale-6811.html :) let me know if you're interested, xx

  26. Totally disagree with all the hate for benefit eyebright it's well good! just a bit in the corner of your eyes makes you look so awake and bright, I've just bought it and love it!

  28. Have you tried the elf corrector palette?! That could cure your craving for the benefit pen AND the stila corrector - Works really well for me! I've got a review actually, here http://fridayisforever.blogspot.com/2011/03/lack-of-sleep-me-elf-corrective.html

    So much cheaper as well!

I'm DYING for some hunter wellies, I'm not even sure why, it seems to be a downfall in my branding love, oops!! x
