Instead I thought I'd pop up my list of twenty five things I'd like to do or achieve before I'm twenty five years old. I was going to do a thirty before thirty list but we'd be waiting around a pretty long time to see if I actually achieved them. This May I'll be turning twenty three years old so I have a little over two years to see how many things I manage to achieve!
One. Set up a rainy day savings account and regularly pay into it.
Even if I can only manage to pay in a small amount each month, it's better than nothing and you never know when you'll need a few spare pennies in life!
Two. Move in with my boyfriend.
My boyfriend is very fortunate to own his own home and I realise how lucky we are to be in a position where we won't have to rent. There's absolutely nothing wrong with renting, I know it suits so many people perfectly, but it's just not for us. His house was a pretty big renovation project and at every step of the way he's asked my opinion on things which is really lovely because one day this is going to a home for the two of us.
Three. Fully set up my online jewellery and photography stores.
Sailboat, Ahoy is my little online handmade jewellery store and in the coming months I hope to turn it into something really quite wonderful. I'm not someone that's been arty or crafty all my life but I'm certainly enjoying learning as I go along and making new pieces to put into the shop. My next aim is to set up a little online photography based store selling prints, note cards and greetings cards. I'd really love to make these little shops into something special. Fingers crossed that I can!
Four. Get married.
I never thought I'd get married. At school all of my friends had boyfriends and I never really did, I was kind of the chubby kid with unflattering glasses that no boy ever looked at apart from to have a bit of a laugh at. For the most part I was okay with it, having a boyfriend wasn't such a big deal to me. Over the years there were a few boys I went on dates with but no one was really very special until I met Mark. You know when things just feel right? I remember telling my mama that I had just met the man I was going to marry.
Five. Adopt a dog.
From when I was a baby my family have always had a dog and that's something I'd like to continue. Ideally I'd love to adopt a dog from a rescue centre although I know they have strict rules and I'm not sure if our small garden will be large enough. I hope it will be though because I'd love to give a dog that's had a hard time a really lovely home.
Six. Welcome our first baby.
I never thought I'd be in a position where I was saying that I'd like a baby. This is another one of those things that comes with meeting the right person. I'm not quite ready just yet and it's just not quite the right time at the moment. With something as big as this I want everything else to be as perfect as it can be, I'd like to be married, in the position where I can be a stay at home mum and just able to give everything I possibly can to another life. I'm also excited to see what our future child will look like, my boyfriend is half Filipino and I'm as white as can be. Boy or girl I don't mind, I just know it's going to be such an exciting time in our lives.
Seven. Lose around 14lbs and keep it off.
This may be slightly too ambitious, I'd be very happy with just losing 10lbs and I think I'd feel much better for it. I mean I'm okay with how I look right now but I know I'm not as healthy as I could be and that's the aspect that bothers me.
Eight. Finish my degree.
I'm currently studying English Language and Literature with the Open University and I'm not sure if I'll end up doing anything with my degree in terms of employment - I'm twenty two and I still have no idea what I want to be when I grow up! I think a degree is always a wonderful thing to have, even if it's just something that helps you grow personally and not professionally.
Nine. Keep blogging.
Blogging is probably one of the few things I've ever stuck at for a long period of time and it's one of my proudest achievements. Right now I can't imagine not logging on to blogger and typing up a post so I hope I don't give it up for a long time to come & I hope you all stick with me!
Ten. Find a job I really quite like.
It's no secret I'm not the biggest fan of my current job, I essentially work on the tills in a shop and I'm super shy so it's pretty much my worst nightmare having to talk to strangers constantly. I can't lie, it has been good for me to push myself but a quiet office job would suit me down to the ground!
Eleven. Make a homemade lasagne completely from scratch.
This is a bit of a silly one I suppose but lasagne is one of my absolute favourite foods but for some reason I've never made one from scratch by myself before!
Twelve. Learn to drive.
This is something I've been saying since I turned 17 and I've still not got around to learning. I'm a little bit scared I suppose but it's mostly the cost of lessons and then the cost of running a car. Admittedly it would be handy to know how to drive and I wouldn't need to get my own car after. We'll see with this one!
Thirteen. Watch the sun set and the stars come out in the middle of the country.
Living in a large light polluted town most of my life doesn't lend itself to seeing stars as clearly as I could from right in the middle of the countryside so this is something I'd love to do this summer!
Fourteen. Go on a real holiday with my boy.
I haven't been on a plane since I was thirteen and honestly I'm not overly keen to get back on one. I've watched far to many movies and documentaries featuring plane crashes than is normal and it's safe to say I've been thoroughly put off. My boyfriend on the other hand is plane obsessed and I know he'd love for us to go on a 'proper' abroad holiday. I've promised him we'll go somewhere nice for our honeymoon, so all he needs to do is marry me. I think that's a fair deal!
Fifteen. Purchase and keep a One Line A Day: Five Year Memory Book.
Keeping a diary and documenting my inner most thoughts has never been my thing, I would always start one on January 1st and from then on I'd just forget. This sweet little book just looks perfect and finding one sentence to summarise your day could be a pretty interesting challenge!
Sixteen. Take on a project 365: take one photograph every day for a year.
This is something I've wanted to do for a long time but I'm always afraid this will be another thing I'll just end up giving up on. I think I'm going to try and rope my boyfriend in on this one and we'll do a joint 365 project starting on the first day I officially move into his house.
Seventeen. Regularly print out our photographs and organise them into albums or scrapbooks.
The digital age has seen most of my photographs staying firmly put on my computer or saved on various external hard drives which to me seems like such a shame! It's my goal to have a bookcase full of photo albums that I can look back on when I'm older. Memories like that are just priceless.
Eighteen. Give blood.
This is one of those things I've been meaning to do for a long time and I'm sure a lot of people feel the same. Blood donations are so important, you never know when you may need to receive blood yourself and this is one goal I'm determined to achieve - hopefully more than once!
Nineteen. Stop biting my nails.
This was something I managed last year but getting a job that doesn't allow me to wear nail polish soon had me biting them again. No nail polish means my nails break so easily which is rubbish but biting them is such a horrible habit and I need to stop!
Twenty. Have a picnic in the countryside in the summer time.
I've got this vision of sitting in a cute field surrounded by flowers and getting homemade sandwiches and cupcakes out of my new picnic basket while sitting on a cute gingham picnic blanket. In reality my picnic blanket will probably get blown away, the sandwiches will be stolen by ants and I'll be chased by a bee. But it'll be fun and that's all that matters!
Twenty One. Make sure date night happens at least once a month.
Since moving closer to my boyfriend we seem to have almost stopped going on proper dates which I really miss. I think going to the cinema or out for dinner once a month is achievable and I also think it'll be a lovely thing to do together.
Twenty Two. Make vegetarian maki at home more often.
Yo! Sushi is the restaurant that first introduced me to the world of sushi and maki is probably one of the easiest things to make but it's also super yummy. We've made it at home a couple of times before but it would be nice to have it more often!
Twenty Three. Find a good quality black eyeliner that actually lasts on my eyes without smudging.
I touched upon this in my last post and although it's quite a trivial goal to have, it's something that's been bugging me for ages. I really love the winged eyeliner look so I'm really hoping I can find a liner that won't smudge on me.
Twenty Four. Plan my meals better and incorporate more healthy foods.
Lately I've found myself filling up on unhealthy snacks and then when it comes to meal times, I never really want anything. I'm aiming to have 5 portions of fruit & vegetables every single day and to start eating breakfast!
Twenty Five. Comment on every single blog post I read.
This is one that sounds simple but I think it's going to be one of the goals I find the most challenging. When I'm on my iPad it won't let me comment on blogs that have the disqus commenting system which is super annoying and it's not often that I browse blogs on my laptop anymore but getting better at leaving comments is something I really need to improve on! Have you made a similar list of things you'd like to achieve? I'd love if you would let me know in the comments or link me if you have a blog post!
xoxo

Goodness, Jennie! Move in, Married AND a baby before you're 25! :) You have some mega goals but i'm very inspired by this post, so much so i might follow suit and do one for myself! :) Keep blogging sweetie, you're ace!

Ahh I know. I guess I have some pretty big 'family goals' but I've never been ambitious career wise! You definitely should, it's really quite interesting sitting down and really thinking about what you'd like to happen in the future! Xoxo
DeleteWhat an awesome list! I like how you have thought each one through, and none of them are impossible to achieve, but will mean making some effort. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteeyeliner - elizabeth arden used to do an amazing one... lasts forever and is worth the price
Give blood - I do when my iron levels are okay, you will feel amazing!
adopt a puppy - awwww yes!
I'm doing a photo a day this year... mostly iphone pics so far, but when I get the opp to take out my proper camera I will!
Good luck Lovely girl! xxxx
Aww thank you! And thanks again for the liner recommendation, will definitely check that out! Ooh wow good luck with your photo a day project, I bet some days it's hard to feel inspired! Xoxo
DeleteIt is. btw I have no idea why there are random links to things in my comment, I didn't put them there!
DeleteIt's because I have skim links lnstalled I think, nothing that you've done so don't worry! Xoxo
DeleteWow! That's a very ambitious list for 2 years! I think that's great. Wishing you the absolute best of luck with it all :) x
ReplyDeleteThought I'd go for ambitious but not impossible, I didn't want to make things too easy for myself! Thank you so much xoxo
DeleteMy main goal this year is eating healthier, I'm also not a fan of breakfast, I just can't eat as soon as I get up! I'm doing good so far though, I find making a smoothie in the morning is the best way to make sure I have breakfast. Also means I get at least 1 or 2 portions of fruit :) xx
ReplyDeleteOoh smoothies are such a good idea, I think I may have to take a leaf out of your book with that one! Xoxo
DeleteThis is such a lovely post! x
ReplyDeleteAww thank you! Xoxo
Deletethat's quite a list. an exciting one at that. :)
ReplyDeletelook forward to seeing your future posts of accomplishment. :)
all the best.

Thank you lovely :) xoxo
DeleteI love your list! I'd love to make one myself but I really doubt that I'm going to be able to follow through it, haha. Hope you achieved all of these! x
ReplyDeleteAww you should definitely give it a go, it's really interesting thinking about what you'd like from the future! Thank you! Xoxo
DeleteLooks like some fantastic goals there.
ReplyDeleteGiving blood is amazing. I've done it several times, and always feel so proud afterwards. I was terrified before, but it was honestly fine. You feel the needle going in, as if someone with long nails has just scratched you. And that is it. You feel no other pain or discomfort. I always find the thought of it is a million times worse than when I actually do it.
Good luck with your list!
That's good to know, I'm not the biggest fan of needles but thankfully I'm not super scared, I'll just have to look away when they're doing it! Thank you so much :) xoxo
DeleteJennie this is just beautiful. I think you are great person and that you will be amazing wife and mother :) xxx
ReplyDeleteAww thank you so much Marta! I hope I will be! :) xoxo
Deletehttp://youtu.be/gBbproQW-Jw :) I made a video about my 25 before 25 a couple of weeks ago- funnily enough I've started one of those line a day diaries as part of mine! x
ReplyDeleteOoh I'll definitely pop over and watch your video, thanks for linking me! Ahh that's such a coincidence, they seem like wonderful little books to keep and look back on! Xoxo
DeleteJennie I absolutely ADORE this post! You have just inspired me to head back to my blog and give it another go. :) Thanks so much, fifi xoxo
ReplyDeleteAww yay! Thank you beautiful xoxo
DeleteSome of these goals are really lovely and definitely achievable I would say? You and your boyfriend take such good pictures as well. so jealous!!!
ReplyDeleteI have a 12 in in 2012 list on my blog but they are quite trivial in comparison to yours! ;) Xx
Hopefully they're all achievable, definitely wanted to challenge myself but not make it completely impossible. Aww thank you so much, that's really sweet of you to say! Ooh I'll have to pop over and have a look at your list, I think if I had to make a list of things I'd like to do this year it would be full of trivial things too hehe xoxo
DeleteAwh such an interesting post! I too would like to learn to drive and find a job I really like... At present, I have no idea what I want to do with my life - Hopefully I'll know by the time I'm 25!
ReplyDeleteHope you achieve all your goals :)
ug-lily.blogspot.com
We're in the same boat then hehe. I'm sure you'll find something you absolutely love to do really soon and you'll be able to make it into a successful career! Thank you! Xoxo
Deletethis is soooooooooo inspiring! I'm 22 too and you've just inspired me to make the same list!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea if you can buy Essence cosmetics in UK, but I have Essence gel liner and for me it's amazing! It's my first gel liner, but is really black, waterproof, stays on all day. It transfers a bit, but I apply my face powder on my lids before making lines and than it doesn't transfer at all
Aww yay! It's a really interesting little list to make, it really gets you thinking about what you want from the future!
DeleteOoh I'm not sure if we can get essence over here but I'll have a bit of a look online - thanks for the recommendation! Xoxo
Such a good idea :) I may have to think of some things to do before I'm 30 - terrifyingly my 25th is only a few months away!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with everything & I'm so happy you want to keep blogging - yours is one of my absolute favourites!!
xxxx
You should definitely make a 30 before 30 list! They're so much fun and really get you thinking about what you'd like from the next few years! Aww thank you so much, that means a lot! Xoxo
DeleteThis is such a lovely list! I also have a 25 before 25 list on my blog :) xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you! Ooh I'll definitely pop over and have a look at your list too! Xoxo
DeleteHi Jennie. I love your 25 things before 25. You actually have a couple similar to me too :)
ReplyDeleteI've posted mine on my blog if you wanted to have a little look. x
http://paris-holds-the-key.blogspot.com/p/25-things-to-do-before-25.html
Hi Samantha! Thank you so much, I'll definitely come and have a read of your list too! Thank you so much for linking me :) xoxo
DeleteWhat a wonderful list - it seems like such a great idea to lay out some goals for the next few years. Good luck with all your 25s!
ReplyDeletebeautifulsmudges.blogspot.com
Thank you Chrissy! Xoxo
DeleteI love this post, and the fact you have turned to more of a lifestyle blog. It actually quite inspiring to see someone the same age as me looking ahead and having goal, something i think i shall be copying. Also i love the one line diary!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! It's a lovely things to do, it really gets you thinking about what you'd like from the future!
DeleteThese are all really great goals a lot of them are goals I have for this year especially two, eight and nine and your photography is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteFor number 23 have you tried Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner its my all time fave and I've tried a LOT of eye liners and wear it pretty much everyday its not as messy as a liquid but lasts longer and doesn't smudge like a pencil eye liner.
: ]
http://sammy-scribble.blogspot.com/
Aww thank you so much! Quite a few people have recommended the maybelline eyeliner, I'll definitely have to look at that one! Xoxo
DeleteWhat a super dooper list!
ReplyDeleteI like that your goals are all achievable and I've no doubt you'll get through them all with flying colours! xx
Thank you so much! :) xoxo
DeleteAw! This is so lovely! And your photos are stunning! Although still 17, i have no idea what i want to do after college! And a tip for the lasagna, if you don't want to make your own pasta sheets, use fresh ones, you can find them in the fridges near the pizzas usually, you just put them in hot water for 5 mins, they are so much better because sometimes with the one you can get in a box they don't cook all the way through, nobody wants a crunchy lasagna :) x
ReplyDeleteAww don't worry about not knowing what you'd like to do after college, I definitely didn't when I was your age but it'll all all into place! Ooh thanks for that tip, I'll definitely opt for the fresh pasta! Thank you! Xoxo
DeleteThis is a lovely list, you've got a nice variety of goals!
ReplyDeleteI think I need to join you on #25, I seem to have totally got out of the habit but I'm trying to be better :)
I really love Collection 2000's liquid eyeliner, everything smudges on me but this lasts really well and it's not too expensive to see if it works for you :)
Good luck with your list!
xo
Aww thank you so much! I've been going through a huge phase of just reading blogs but it's lovely to leave comments too! Ooh thank you for that, I'll have to look at collection 2000, I think someone else recommended their felt tip liner so I may have to try a couple out! Xoxo
DeleteThis is a lovely, inspiring list. And your photos are so beautiful, I'm so in envy of your ability! I'd love to see a 365 project from you :) And I know exactly what you mean about commenting from an iPad, I find myself browsing blogs so much more when I'm on mine but it's a nightmare trying to comment on certain ones xoxo
ReplyDeleteAhh I'm glad I'm not the only one that sometimes has trouble commenting on an iPad! Thank you so much lovely! xoxo
DeleteWow, a really impressive and lovely list of things. I like making these sort of lists because I always think it helps you focus, although mine tend to be more short term. I'm about the same age as you and I find it really exciting to think just how different things will be by the time I'm 25! I think in your younger years things change fast so its great to keep track. Good luck with all of them, and hopefully we'll be able to share some of them with you on here
ReplyDeletexxx
I definitely agree, it's good to have some focus! Thank you so much, definitely will share everything on here too :) xoxo
DeleteWow! What a great idea and what a lovely list of things! I'm sure you'll have an amazing time completing each of these things in the next couple of years :) They'll take you on a wonderful journey, and it's such a positive thing to do! I hope it goes well sweet, your list is inspiring :) xxxx
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Anna! xoxo
DeleteWowie quite the list! Very inspiring to read.
ReplyDeleteYou have so many wonderful things to look forward to and work towards! This list is so motivating, you have created such great goals for yourself which makes me feel like I should take a moment to list off a few things I would like to do in the next few years.
xx
The Urban Umbrella
xoxo
http://urbanumbrella.blogspot.com/
I definitely think it's a great thing to do! xoxo
DeleteSounds like a great list, I would like to do quite a few things on it too, though having a baby before I'm 25 could be a bit of a rush as I only have 11 months to go and I'd need to fit a wedding in first! But a girl can dream.
ReplyDeleteI love the photo after number 7.
I'm doing a 365 project this year and it's really helping with my creativity http://www.flickr.com/photos/94542456@N00/
Aww hehe! Thank you so much, I'll definitely check out your 365 project, thank you for linking me! xoxo
DeleteLove this post! Go you! I'd love to create a list like this x
ReplyDeleteThank you Steph! :) xoxo
Deleteboy oh boy they would be some great goals, some sounds scary though like marriage and babies
ReplyDeleteAww it's not so scary when you're ready!
DeleteHOLY. married with a baby before 25? Don't you want some time to enjoy the whole marriage first? This is so interesting for me to read because as much as I would like to get married and have kids, I couldn't be a stay at home mom - my mindset has always been that I need to contribute to the household somehow!
ReplyDeleteBut ugh, I bite my nails ALL THE TIME. I'm totally with you there.
Of course, I'm only 22 right now! Setting up my own little 'businesses' or stores is part of my big dream to be a stay at home mum, I'll still be earning but I won't miss my baby. xoxo
DeleteWow, what a list! I think it's really good to have a set of goals to work towards, it just keeps you motivated and prevents you from becoming complacent i think. This has really inspired me to write my own 25 before 25. :) xxx
ReplyDeleteAww yay! Thank you! xoxo
Deletewow, love this post a lot :)
ReplyDeleteHow old are you now my love? I would love to be married and live with my boy by 25 but due to my stupid money habbit I am now paying for it, boo! Anyway.
I hope you achieve them all
xxx
I'm 22 at the moment! Aww that's such a shame, hopefully it won't be too long for you and your boy! Thank you! xoxo
DeleteThis is such a good idea. I think having a list of goals keeps you motivated and stops you getting complacent about things... I really need to write one now! Thanks for this post, I'm feeling very inspired :) xxx
ReplyDelete<3 Definitely! xoxo
DeleteI think it's a good idea to do a before twenty five list, I've made a '30 before 30' one and I've got ages to complete it! The date night one is a good one, I think I will start this! Lovely photos too.
ReplyDeleteThank you! :) xoxo
DeleteOh wow I LOVED this post, I'm so tempted to do it, even if I just write things down. That is such a wonderful list of things and I so loved reading it. I hope you achieve them all xoxo
ReplyDeleteThank you lovely! I think it's a really great thing to do, makes you really think about what you'd like from the future! xoxo
DeleteMarried and child in 3 years? gosh, that's a scary thought even on my part! i hope you succeed in everything that you want to do :)
ReplyDeleteI started a 365 at the beginning of this year for, i think, the fifth time! 13 days in and still going! Haha.
Beautiful photos xx
Maybe it'll happen, and maybe it won't. I'm just much more family focused than I am career focused. Everyone is different and on my part it's had a lot to do with meeting the man that I want to spend the rest of my life with, he's the right person for me and it's only natural that I'd want to build a family with him. :)
DeleteOoh good luck with your 365 project! xoxo
I did a similar thing on my blog for my 'aspirations list' - http://www.louisejoyb.blogspot.com/p/aspirations-list.html
ReplyDelete(I don't know how to make it a smaller link boo)
But I saw your twitter about people giving you negative feedback, I think it's just silly - it's your life right? So why should they care.
I have a similar stand-point on most of the things you've said, as personally I'd get engaged/married any point after 21, and have never wanted anything more in life than to settle down and have my own family in a nice little house somewhere. I could never be one of those career obsessed people, I just don't see the point, I'm not driven by it.
I hope you achieve all of your goals sweet :) I'm sure you will! You and your boyfriend are adorable <3
Louisejoyb xo | Bits&Bobs
That's a really lovely list of things, I wish you all the luck in achieving them all!
DeleteExactly. Honestly, you'd think I'd written that I wanted to have a million children immediately and then I'd spend my time sat on my arse watching telly all day every day!
Everyone is different and wanting a family is no better and no worse than wanting a career. This is what makes life interesting, we all have different ideas of happiness!
Thank you so much lovely <3 :) xoxo
I loved this post :) I hope you succeed with all of your goals and I especially hope you get the little family your wishing for! I found out last year at the age of 24 that I can't have children and it was possibly the worst day of my life but its something I can't change and maybe its a blessing in disguise as I may now be able to offer the chance of a better life to a child in care through adoption or fostering, this is now one of my long term aims. I never thought my life would turn out this way but its always good to sit down and reflect on things and have goals/targets to achieve no matter what situation you find yourself in. Good Luck Jennie, I look forward to reading your updates xx
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for commenting lovely! Finding out something like that must be devastating but I absolutely love the way that you're thinking about things now. You're a really wonderful person for going down the adoption or fostering route and I really do wish you all the luck in the world with that! xoxo
Deletewhat a lovely list. Some biggies as well as some easy ones to tick off. I'll send you my favourite lasagne recipe. I'm a cooking dunce and even I can make it.
ReplyDeleteI got married and adopted a dog before 25 :)
I'm not ready for the patter of baby feet yet though.
Good luck with these x
Oh wow thank you so much, that would be absolutely amazing! <3 xoxo
DeleteI would be so thrilled if you started a shop where you sold your photography work! Good luck with all of these things, really achievable aims. I also don't like renting - I'm going to have to, though, but i don't like it! Hate the thought of throwing money at things that won't be mine in the end. Saving up like mad so that I won't have to rent for very long! x
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely something I'm hoping will be up and running really soon! Thank you lovely, I'm hoping that I'll be able to tick off most of these, maybe not every single one, but I'm quite excited! There are definitely certain pro's to renting but I think about it in the same way you do, spending lots of money each month but never getting anywhere in terms of owning a property. Hopefully renting will only be a very short term thing for you! xoxo
DeleteI really enjoyed reading your list, Jennie. I need to do something like this myself although as I'm turning 25 this year maybe a "30 before 30" list would be more achievable! Good luck with all your goals, it's great to have things to aim for. x
ReplyDeleteThank you lovely, definitely think you should do a 30 before 30 list! xoxo
DeleteI wish you luck on all of your goals xx
ReplyDeleteThank you so much :) xx
DeleteI feel very inspired by this post! I want to make a list similar to this - I'll be 25 next year!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a really lovely thing to do, really gets you thinking about the things you'd really like to achieve! xoxo
DeleteYou have some lovely goals I really enjoyed reading them all. Good luck with achieving them all! I did a not quite 25 before 25 page on my blog (I couldn't quite think of 25 things!) you can have a read here if you like http://princesspancake.blogspot.com/p/not-quite-25-before-25.html xx
ReplyDeleteAww I love your list, it's something you can add to as you go along! Thank you :) xoxo
Deletesuch a wonderful post hun! Really loved reading it :D Its so true about taking an abundance of fab pics in life & then just storing in the laptop! I would LOVE to create more albums so I can look back on all the fab memories :) I hope you achieve all your goals & wish's sweety :)
ReplyDeleteLove Aysh xoxo
Aww thank you so much lovely! <3 xoxo
DeleteSome lovely goals- wish you luck with them all :) Looking forward to reading about how you get on. Your photos are beautiful by the way x
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Lucy! Xoxo
DeleteThis list is a good idea.Good luck with everything.
ReplyDelete:)I love your blog
Thank you! :) xoxo
DeleteI share 4,5 ,23,24 and 25 although 25 years old has been and gone. Perhaps I should do a 30 things before 30? (eek that sounds old!) Maybe if i make a list I might actually achieve some of them...I really should think about planning my wedding at some point! xx
ReplyDeleteDefinitely do a 30 before 30! Lists are amazingly helpful! Xoxo
Deletehello, I love these types of lists and it makes such a difference when you write them down. Good luck and hope you achieve them all!
ReplyDeleteI decided to create a day zero list of 101 things to do in 1001 days. I blogged about it here :)
http://thisissamanthawood.blogspot.com/2012/01/day-zero-list.html
Thank you! Ooh thank you for linking me, I'll definitely pop over and have a look! Xoxo
DeleteGood luck with your list, I hope you're successful with all these lovely goals :D
ReplyDeleteHave you tried the Barry M Wink eyeliner pen? I don't often wear liquid liner, but when I do I always use this. It's always been smudge-proof for me!
Mollie xo
molliemuses.blogspot.com
Thank you! I haven't tried the Barry m but I'll definitely check it out! Xoxo
DeleteI really hope you achieve all these things. You should definitely go for it with learning to drive, it was the most difficult thing Ive ever done (8 test failures) but I couldn't imagine my life without it now. I'd struggle even going to work without driving.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to adopt an animal - think I'd have to go with a cat though as we've always had cats since I was little. My boyfriend would prefer a dog though so I reckon we'll end up with both.
Giving blood is really rewarding - you feel so good about yourself afterwards. And its surprisingly painless.
Good luck! x
Thank you lovely! I really must learn, it's just so pricey! Aww a cat and a dog would be so lovely! Xoxo

Thank you so much!
DeleteI really really like this idea! I'm 19 but I feel a bit stagnant so this is a nice way of keeping mini goals without adding too much!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with it all :) x
Definitely agree! Thank you xoxo
DeleteWhat a wonderful list. Some of the items on there are things I have on mine over on my blog. I think making a list can put things into perspective if you get my drift :).
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend xxx
Thank you! I definitely agree with that! Hope you're having a lovely weekend too! Xoxo
DeleteHi, only just stumbled upon your blog, but I really love this post :) its a really good mix of big, life-changing achievements and little things that would make a big difference in a small way. It made me smile the whole way through! I'll definitely be reading your blog from now on xx
ReplyDeleteHi Daisy! Thank you so much, that means alot! :) xoxo
DeleteReading though your list we sound so similar, I am 25 in June and have nearly done all the things on your list, so its not impossible. I love the One Line a Day book, I'm so getting that, thanks and best of luck with your goals x
ReplyDeleteThank you! <3 xoxo
DeleteGreat list! Hope you achieve all you wish for!
ReplyDeleteThank you lovely! :) xoxo
DeleteMy line a day book just arrived yesterday. 2 days in and I've stuck to it so far. Just another five years to go!
ReplyDeleteAww yay, enjoy it! Xoxo
DeleteI'm the same age as you (I'm born in August) so I should probably create my own 25 before 25 but I just don't know what to put on my list.
ReplyDeleteI think all of your options are fantastic and I hope you do REALLY well with it. But then, we never know what life throws at us, I was planning on being a contract lawyer by this time and that so hasn't happened...instead I bake...and blog about it. lol.
Good luck, Jennie!

DeleteI absolutely loved reading this post!! What a great list :-) I am 26 and still can't drive so that would definitely be on my list! xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you! :) xoxo
DeleteSuch a lovely list, so inspiring too! I can definitely relate to a lot of them, especially the healthy eating one! Good luck with all your goals :) xx
ReplyDeleteAww thank you so much Katie! Xoxo
DeleteHey Jennie!
ReplyDeleteYour list is so sweet! You've made me want to try and write a list of my own :)
Just 2 things - Try OPI's Nail Envy (Original) on your nails if you can't wear coloured polish. It's a clear base coat but I often just wear it on its own as it makes them look so glossy and also really strengthens then!
Also, re the eyeliner, you should try Soap & Glory's new Supercat pen liner. It's AMAZING! Seriously. Stays in tact all day. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now non stop. It's only like £6 as well which is a bargain :) Before that I was using Rimmel's Exaggerate liquid eyeliner and it just doesn't compare it terms of longevity.
Good luck achieving your goals :)
Sophia xo
Hi Sophia! Thank you so much, I'll definitely be getting nail envy, you've reminded me how much it's raved about by so many different people! Ooh I'll have to go and have a look at the soap and glory liner, I really love the pen style liners, mtheyre so quick and easy to apply! Xoxo
Deletedon't worry i'm 23 and still dont know what i want to do with my life either! :)
