Making Vegetarian Sushi. (Albeit not very well!)

After a sudden pang of craving for sushi at 9pm, the boy and I hopped into the car on a mini adventure to the supermarket (yay for 24 hour opening times!) to stock up on supplies. We're not very good at rolling neatly, & I'm sure we never manage to do it properly, but they sure did taste yummy! That massive plate full definitely did not last very long at all. Om nom nom!

  1. i so need to do this because the amount of times i'm going to Yo Sushi is getting really embarrassing! I'm a bit scared about cooking the rice and getting it right! xxx

    1. If I lived closer to a Yo! Sushi I'd be the same haha! It's quite easy to make, the rolling is just a bit time consuming! xo

  7. This is so silly but I've been saying I need to try to make sushi at home for about a year or so... but i've yet to actually do it - and it seems so, so easy (specially if it vegetarian).

  8. This is amazing! I've never had the balls to do it myself, I just think it would end badly. (I'm not exactly gifted in the culinary department) but I might just have to throw caution to the wind and give it a go! At least I can't burn the kitchen down with this one... ;)

    1. I think you should too! It's a bit time consuming but so worth it because it's so yummy! That being said, you can't beat going out to a sushi restaurant, they're always amazing! xo

  10. I love sushi! There is an amazing wee place in Aberdeen which is super cheap and yummy! If you're ever in this area, give me a shout and I'll point you to it :). We also have two Yo Sushis (which are nothing in comparison to the wee place)

    1. Ooh I definitely will! I've only ever been to Yo! Sushi before and although I love it, I know there must be way better places out there! xo
