Birthday Beauty Wishlist!

With my twenty third birthday a couple of days away I popped this little, well okay admittedly it is a rather large beauty wishlist together full of products I've heard so much about lately and have found myself coveting. I would absolutely love to know what your current must have beauty items are & if there's anything you think I would really like! There are so many fabulous beauty products out there right now, both new to the market and firm favourites amongst beauty junkies and it can be a little overwhelming when doing a little bit of online window shopping so I would love to hear your suggestions!

Well, looking at that there is definitely way too much blush on my wish list, I'm so predictable but all of these look so pretty! I've never tried a Sleek blusher before and these little Blush By 3 palettes look wonderful. The Dior Rosy Glow blush would be a total indulgence but I'm not sure that I could face spending so many pennies on one product! A much more affordable option would be the Collection 2000 Blushalicious palette which I can never seem to find in Boots shops near me, I think I'm going to have to go on a little road trip to find it! Mata Hari from NARS is a blush I find myself googling swatches of all the time and although it doesn't look like anything super duper special, for some reason I just keep coming back to it. And well, that Stila Love at First Blush just looks so incredibly adorable - you know me and my pretty-in-the-pan blush addiction! What can I say?! I can't help it!

I've seen a couple of beautiful ladies with this super sweet Book Clutch from ASOS and it was love at first sight. I don't own a single clutch bag and to be honest, I'm not sure where I would wear this but I think it's adorable none the less. As I was browsing the new in section on ASOS I stumbled across the Band of Gypsies Lace Kimono which I think is lovely and could quite possibly be the perfect little summer time cover up. I'm not sure if it would go with much of my wardrobe though, I fear it might be one of those items that only looks nice with denim shorts (of which I own none because my legs are far from shorts appropriate!) and a white vest top.

Real Techniques brushes are something else that the blogging world has gone crazy for and I can totally see why. I was super interested in the Buffing Brush but I know that I would hardly ever get any use out of the rest of the brushes that come in the Core Collection and unfortunately it's not available on its own. The Expert Face Brush is one of the newest additions to the Real Techniques family and it looks like the perfect brush for applying liquid foundation! Another new addition is the Real Techniques Setting Brush & this brush looks like it would be the perfect size for applying a setting powder to the under eye area!

Finally, three products that I've seen being raved about for such a long time now, starting with the Jemma Kidd Dewy Glow All Over Radiance Creme. This comes in two shades and I think that Iced Gold would suit my skintone the most although they both look stunning! I have dry skin so anything that's going to give a bit of luminosity and glow, I need in my life! The Caudalie Beauty Elixir sounds like one of those beautiful skincare products that's perfect for an array of different things. It can be used under make up as a toner, over make up to give a general glow to the skin and as a refreshing spray throughout the day. Lovely! The Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector sounds like the perfect lip product for minimal make up days when you want something on the lips to not only act as a balm but also give a bit of colour and gloss. This comes in three shades and frankly, I'm lusting after them all! Clarins is a lovely brand and although these are fairly pricey at £16 I already know they're going to be worth every penny! I think the shade 01 Rose Shimmer appeals to me the most at the moment.

I would love to know if you've tried any of these products before and what you thought of them. And please please please let me know if there are any specific make up products you are loving right now, expensive or affordable, because I would love to know!

I hope you've all had a wonderful week and you have some lovely things planned for the weekend!
xoxo

  7. this kimono is soooo pretty! I think it would be perfect not only with shorts, but also with any long jeans. Talking about make up: I'm loving Bourjois lip gloss right now! I'm not a lipglosses fan, but it's amazing! and very very moisturizing. In my opinion it's pretty expensive (as a lipgloss), but worth it!
