Lacoste L!ve.

Lacoste has been a symbol of relaxed elegance since 1933. The Lacoste brand, built on its genuine sporting roots, offers a unique and original collection through a wide range of products for men, women and children. Lacoste L!ve uses the beautiful Montreal as a background for its new Autumn/Winter 2012 collection. The eclectic influences and extreme climate means that Montreal is a constant source of inspiration for artists. It's time to discover Unconventional Chic.

I really encourage you to watch the campaign video, it's so wonderfully shot and super inspirational! Inspired by the design of young artist Julien Vallée, who hijacks objects and materials to give them different meanings and tell new stories just as Lacoste L!ve does with its collections, this new campaign is graphic, urban and colourful. Also featured in the campaign are Cosmetics whose music reflects what Montreal is like in the middle of winter with a frozen electro sound combined with human emotions.

The new collection is experimenting with classics in order to reinvent the future; signature polo, shirts are reworked with Breton stripes and the classic Lacoste style is combined with street art resulting in an old school style hitting the streets, bringing a fresh new attitude and a brand new fusion of colours. The classic Lacoste crocodile is buying into vintage, a new kind of music and graphic art shakes up polo, shirts; jeans and track jackets have slimmer and younger fits.

The bold graphic prints and vintage influences are seamlessly incorporated within classic Lacoste sportswear style, which is something I adore. These are my three absolute favourite pieces on the website currently. The outfits look effortlessly chic and sophisticated; the perfect look for Autumn.
