Review: Liz Earle Signature Foundation.

Prior to this I had never tried any of the Liz Earle make up range, but if the rest of the products are anything like this one then I've definitely been missing out because I think the Liz Earle Signature Foundation is really something special. There's a little video at the end showing me applying the foundation, I thought that maybe helpful if you were thinking of investing in this foundation!

Liz Earle Signature Foundation♦ (£21)
The frosted glass packaging adds a touch of luxury and I like that it comes with a pump that dispenses the perfect amount of product for each application. For £21 you get 25ml of product and Liz Earle say that the 'silky formula offers easy-to-build coverage and glides on easily to give a smooth, radiant finish and an even, natural-looking complexion. Beautifully buildable and blendable, with a special mix of spherical particles and coated pigments that offer long-lasting colour.'

I have the lightest shade, Porcelain and although meant for more pink-based skin tones it matches my fair and slightly yellow toned complexion perfectly. This may just be one of the best foundation colour matches I've ever had, I'm very impressed! It reminds me a lot of the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation in terms of finish, it's neither too matte nor too dewy, it just looks like skin and it's very natural. I would describe my skin currently as normal to dry with especially dehydrated patches on my cheeks and nose. It can tend to slightly highlight the particularly dry areas on my face, in the pictures the dryness on my nose has been highlighted, but that's nothing a good moisturiser underneath won't fix.

It gives a light to medium coverage and can be built up to a certain extent, but I think you'd definitely struggle to get super full coverage. It blends effortlessly over the skin, it's one of those foundations that is super fast to apply with either a brush or your fingers, it barely takes anytime in the mornings which is always a good thing in my eyes! It feels really comfortable on the skin and I've found that it easily lasts all day without the need to touch up at all.

This is one of the best foundations I've tried out all year and I'd go so far as to say this would make it in to my top 10 products of 2012 easily! I've spied that they have some cream blushes in the range that I would love to try and I've heard a lot about the Sheer Skin Tint as well!

Have you ever tried any Liz Earle products before?
xoxo

  3. That looks lovely! Bourjois Healthy Mix is one of my favourites so I might have to check this out.

I tried a sample of Sheer Skin Tint and it was horrible! Really sticky and it didn't set at all.

  13. I always find it hard getting foundations to match my face as they always seem a bit on the orange side.
This one definitely looks good on you in the photos, going to have a browse on the website and maybe ad it my ever expanding Christmas list :)

  20. Ohh thanks for reviewing this! I was wondering if it was any good!!

I am a lover of their skin products... and I always seem to see their make up but never thought much of it!

However, since reading your review. I want to purchase! Shame it costs a small fortune to post to Australia. :(
