What I Wore: An Autumnal Walk.

Coat: WarehouseDress: ASOS Ballet Wrap Dress. Cardigan: AX Paris
Necklace: LiladeesBag: Disaster Designs. Shoes: Leigh flats from ASOS. Glasses: Ralph Lauren

The changing colours of autumn are so beautiful and it is this time of the year I find myself reaching for the neutral shades, and a lot of black. I always seem to get my pop of colour with my make up. I know a lot of blush isn't for everyone but I love it and I'm currently reaching for Illamasqua Tweak a lot. My current favourite lip shade is True Red from Revlon's ColorBurst line, it's an incredibly pigmented shade & looks lovely sheered out as well.

One of my favourite things about the colder months is that I'm able to snuggle up in coats & jackets. I'm a huge fan of layering pieces, I think mixing prints with simple block colours adds a lot of texture and interest to an outfit while being super cosy and comfortable! This piped detail belted mac from Warehouse is without a doubt the nicest coat I own, I can't get over how well made and beautiful it is. You know a coat is a little bit posh when the pockets come sewn up! The colour is neutral which I think is perfect, it'll transition perfectly into Spring next year and I'll tuck it away safely for the summer so I can bring it out again next autumn. I'm a huge fan of classic cuts and designs, they never go out of style!

I went to pop on this Dogtooth cardigan from AX Paris this morning only to discover my mama had pinched it! I stole it back just for today but I think this is something I'm going to have to accept will end up back in my mama's wardrobe before long! It's super cosy, oversized and comfortable & the print adds a little something different to my outfit.

This ballet wrap dress from ASOS is still one of my absolute favourites, I wear it all the time because it's one of those reliable staples. It goes with pretty much everything and although I wish it were a few inches longer, it's super flattering and cinches in all the right places. How completely adorable is this Cinderella Carriage necklace from Liladees?! It's so lovely and so super affordable! I'll be hosting a little jewellery giveaway this Friday, so if you like this necklace or any other piece on the Liladees website you could win it! ♥

What is your favourite Autumn/Winter fashion piece?
xoxo

  8. You look gorgeous! I love your necklace. I wear a lot of neutral colours in Autumn too, mainly navy/dark green/grey/black!
I don't know if I have a specific A/W piece, but I have a burgundy coat that is SO warm and I can't leave the house without it when it gets chilly, so probably that! x

  22. That is such a lovely coat, you look very pretty. I think my favourite autumn/winter clothing pieces are socks, boots and scarves. You don't get the opportunity to wear them much half of the year and they always make you feel warm and cosy!
