A Few New Things - Beauty, Clothing & Home!

Seriously, please don't let me buy any more blush! I think I have enough to last me for my whole life & then even possibly a whole new life after that! I blame ASOS entirely, I always have a look at their beauty section & just before Christmas I had a little splurge. The Illamasqua Blush Duo with Lover & Hussy caught my eye as soon as I saw it and I just had to have it! NARS Orgasm & NARS Deepthroat are both real cult favourites and even though I put off buying them for the longest time, I finally caved! The Stila Convertible Colour was a bit of an impulse purchase I must admit, but the colour, Gerbera, was screaming out at me and I love it a lot!
Last for my ASOS splurge was the Benefit They're Real mascara. Yep, I caved and I bought it. I have a real issue with spending SO much money on a mascara that I'm probably going to throw out in a few months, but this had been getting so much hype I had to give it a try. I like it, but I don't think I love it like I was expecting to. For some reason, and I haven't seen anyone else with this problem, it smudges on my lower lashes throughout the day. I think I have weird lashes! If you've been thinking about trying it, I would say go for it, it's worth trying at least once!
MUA Blush. // MUA Lipstick in Juicy. // MUA Undressed Palette

I won the beautiful Lauren's giveaway a few weeks ago and I just wanted to mention these MUA products becuase I absolutely LOVE them! I'm always blown away by the quality of MUA make up and the best part is, everything is so affordable! This lipstick in the shade Juicy is going to be one of my go-to lip colours for Spring! Thank you so much, Lauren! I absolutely love everything!
I popped into Boots to get my beloved Collection Lasting Perfection concealer but they didn't have any, so I had to settle for something new. I went for the Bourjois Healthy Mix concealer and I have to say, I'm not loving it so far. It seems to really stick to dry areas on my face and it doesn't blend very easily over my skin, which is odd because I love the matching foundation. I'm going to keep working with it though & I think I'll like it more in the summer time.

I picked up a skin essential for me, the Avene Rich Hydrating cream and since I purchased this a little while ago, I've almost finished the tube already! I can't get enough of this stuff, it's a real life saver for my skin in the cooler months. Lastly make up wise, I picked up another Natural Collection Pink Mallow lipstick just because they're super affordable and this is a colour I always keep in my bag. It's easy to wear and I like the formulation of it.

My mama bought me this super cute bunny jumper, I think from a local boutique but I'm not entirely sure. You know me, anything with bunnies on it I will love and I've been wearing this non stop for the past few weeks!

I've been seeing lots of cute painted initial letters on Pinterest, which I'm totally addicted to and I have to thank it daily for helping to decorate our home, and I had to get some for either above the fireplace or for our huge side table that needs filling with cute little decorations. I got these from ebay and they were only a few pounds each. I'm not going to link the seller I used because I'm not that impressed with them, they don't really stand up on their own so I'm going to have to stick them down somehow, but there are SO many choices that pop up when you search on eBay, you'll definitely find some if you want them.

I've been searching for a super simple, delicate gold necklace for the longest time and I finally found the perfect one from Love Hearts & Crosses. I like that it's non fussy and just looks lovely with everything! I've actually got a super sweet Love Hearts & Crosses giveaway coming up tomorrow so be sure to check back then!

Okay, phew, last thing! Another thing I can blame Pinterest for is my sudden want for a pair of clear acrylic glasses. I've found my dream pair here from Prism London but they're a little out of my price range at the moment so I toddled over to Etsy and found SO many pairs of vintage glasses. I pretty much want them all! These are from a seller called MOD Vintage and I can't recommend them enough! I completely appreciate that these aren't going to be everyone's cup of tea, but I've figured that if I have to wear something on my face all of the time, I'm allowed to have lots of options! A I have to go for big frames because I have a giant moon face & small glasses look so silly on me!

I've included my new video here, if you'd like to watch. I would love you to because I'm really on a bit of a video making roll at the moment. I am loving it! I hope you're having a lovely end to the week. It's the first day of a new month and the sun is shining, I'm super happy! ♥

Have you purchased anything new recently?
xoxo

  3. Oh I may have to buy that little gold necklace tonight! I'm seriously tempted by the Stila blushes, and I personally love the Benefit mascara, but I don't use mascara on my lower lashes so can't vouch for that happening to you. xx

  4. Those glasses are singing out to me!! They are so cute and if there is one thing I love it's blonde hair and glasses!! I find the bourjois concealer good under the eyes...didnt work for me on the face too.. although it is not that good coverage it never creases like so many do. But maybe I just have crinkly eyes!! The bunny jumper.. I might have to steal it! along with ralphie..as I think him and Goblin would make awesome friends..

  11. I really fancy the Illamsaqua blush duo, the colours look seriously up my street! I couldn't get on with the Benefit They're Real mascara either but some of my friends absolutely adore it, I think it definitely depends on your lashes.

  19. I didn't think I would like these frames, but they look so pretty on you!

I'm so impressed by Avene lately. I recently got the Cleanance K that has glycolic, salicylic and lactic acid to exfoliate oily skin. Do let us know how you get on with the Stila blush, I keep reading reviews by people that either love it or hate it, would love to know your opinion!

  22. I almost bought the MUA Undressed palette this afternoon! I got the Artiste palette in my stock this Christmas and I adore it - between that and my Naked Palette I'm pretty much sorted :-)

Your glasses are gorgeous and look great on you, not everyone can rock those without looking like Deidre from Coronation Street but you make them look so stylish :-) Will definitely take a peek at the rest of their range

  24. I love the bunny jumper and I'd buy as many nars blushers as I could if I had the money :) I have the Bourjois concealer and because of the consistency I find it only works on my dark circles and not anywhere else on my face so it doesn't really work as a concealer for blemishes, I normally prefere maybelline coverstick as a cheap blemish concealer.
