Review: Estée Lauder Pure Colour Illuminating Gelée in Heat Wave.

I haven't written a make up review in what feels like forever, so please forgive me if I'm a little rusty. For the past couple of months I've either been sticking with my tried and tested favourites or nothing has really impressed me all that much. As soon as this little beauty popped through my letterbox though, I knew this was something I had to tell you about!

There aren't many powder highlighters that I've tried that have impressed me, in fact, I don't think I can think of one that I couldn't be without apart from the Estée Lauder Pure Colour Illuminating Gelée in Heat Wave♦ This is part of their limited edition Bronze Goddess collection and if you can find one of these anywhere (I think they're selling super fast) & you're in the market for a beautiful highlight, I think you should snap it up without thinking twice.

Although the colour looks pretty intense at first, when dusted lightly over the cheekbones it gives just the right amount of glow and warmth, especially when the sunshine hits, without being too intense, which makes it perfect for day time. I think this would be especially gorgeous with a a bronze eye shadow, slightly smudged liner, lots of bronzer and a nude lip. I'm already planning it out in my head! For evening wear I think you can get away with applying a bit more for a stunning shimmery look.

It's one of those products that practically blends itself, it's completely non fussy and easily lasts all day on my skin. The packaging is beautiful and it feels like an all round luxurious product that I really look forward to applying in the mornings. For £30 you get 6g of product and even though it's pricey, I honestly think it's worth every single penny - it's simply stunning!

Have you tried this highlighter?
Or anything else from the Bronze Goddess collection?
xoxo
