Hello, Happy August & Happy Friday!
The sweet and super talented Carly, who has been doing some incredible illustrations for me that I can't wait to share with you, has created a new blog award and passed it on to me! I'm so thrilled that blogging has introduced me to Carly because she has such a kind heart, as her new blog award shows!
The Ribbon Of Affection is to pass it on to someone you really admire, someone who inspires you or whose blog is simply somewhere you like to stop by to spend a few minutes in their world. There are so many people in the bloggersphere that I absolutely adore, I wish I could write a few sentences about each and every one of you, but if you're reading this, I'm passing it on to you too as a thank you for always being supportive! If you would like to pass it on to a few of your favourites, link me to your post in the comments when you've written it - I would love to see!
Keri-Anne many years ago through Flickr, I instantly loved both her and her photography and I was super excited when our paths crossed again in the bloggersphere, it's funny how life works sometimes. She is one of the nicest ladies you could ever hope to meet and her blog, Gingerlillytea, is a beautiful and inspirational scrapbook of her life with her sweet husband and her little girls. Each little glimpse into their lives is whimsical and full of love, smiles and happiness. Simply, beautiful.
Jem is someone I wish could be my 'in real life' best friend because I just know that she would always be there if I needed a chat or some advice that would instantly make me feel better. She has an eye for all things beautiful and magical and I would love to spend an afternoon having a nose around her home, with a cup of tea in a vintage tea cup, because it must be full of little treasures and inspiring bits and bobs just waiting to tell their stories. I love stepping in to Jem's world for a little while, its full of mystery, magic and vintage gems. Jem is one of life's true gems, she really is.
Louise is one of those people who is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. I can't remember exactly when I first discovered her blog, but I do know that I've been reading for a very long time and I never fail to get excited when I see a new post from her. Her style is stunning, every outfit she puts together is something I would wear if I had her eye for fashion but my absolute favourite posts to read from Louise are the little glimpses into her life. Her photographs are absolutely beautiful, full of colour and happiness and she always has something lovely and supportive to say whenever I really need to hear it! So, thank you Louise for always being so wonderful!
