Fickle Temporary Tattoos!

Fickle Temporary Tattoo - Upper Tache / Co-mo-ner* (£5)
I've been having a little bit of fun with Fickle Temporary Tattoos over the past couple of days and I am especially loving this top hat & moustache design - it's so cute and makes me laugh every time I look at it! I'm really impressed with the detail, I remember temporary tattoos back-in-the-day when I was a teenager being super garish and not very detailed at all, but these are the exact opposite. And, well, it's nice to be able to have a little bit of fun with something a little bit different every now and again!

I'll let you in on a little secret, I've actually been considering getting a tattoo on my wrist for a little while now (not a top hat & moustache - don't panic, even though I do love this design, I'm not sure I'd feel the same in 10 years...), but I wasn't sure if it would end up bothering me both because I'm so pale & a tattoo would be such a contrast with my skin and my wrist is a place I see all the time. But this hasn't bothered me at all so far, in fact I actually really love looking at it, so maybe a real tattoo on my wrist is in my future? I'm pretty set on the design I would like and the kind of style so time (and whether I'm brave enough...) will tell!

What do you think of temporary tattoos?
Do you have any real tattoos? I'd love to know!

Love Jennie
xoxo

  1. I proper loved temp tats back when I was a kid; my whole arms were covered at one time. I remember they used to come free with those individual bubble gums for 5p.

Haha I like the wa'ight guvnor tat! You should go for the tattoo. Try not to think too much ahead, live for the moment as they say!

  3. These are sooo cute!! I think I used to rock a few Teenage Mutant Turtle tattoos in the past (I'm so uncool) so nice to see temporary tattoos have got better lol. I just love this. I'm super pale too and have a wrist tattoo and for the first week it was all I noticed but now I'm used to it and barely see it anymore until somebody compliments it :) x

  8. These are so cute! And I think wrist tattoos can be really cute. I've never been brave enough to get any for sure, or found anything I'd want to keep on my body for a lengthy period of time.

  10. I love these temporary tattoos, I agree they are so detailed and I love how they look hand-drawn and not pixilated! I don't have any real tattoos myself, although I have dabbled with the idea of having the deathly hallows symbol put on the middle of a finger, then it can be covered! Then again I'd had seeing it on my wrinkly self in future years...gross thought!

  14. Aww love this (: Wrist tattoos are so pretty & dainty and I've never seen one I don't like! I think they look really classy. I've got stars on my shoulder and trust me, I am the worlds biggest wimp and was shocked at how little it hurt! Cool that you are experimenting with temp ones first, ooh it's exciting <3

  18. I would totally get that done - very cute design.
I have both my wrists tattooed & have had them done for 15 years & still love them. I opted for red ink on one & that looks less harsh and isn't as noticeable.

  22. I adore temporary tattoos and the top hat 'oh I say' is so cute! I'd love a real tattoo but I do worry that I'd change my mind about what I want all the time. I'll stick to temporary ones for now :)

  26. I've been considering getting a tattoo for a long time but I am a huge wimp! I'm pretty sure I'd get a tiny elephant either on my ankle or my shoulder :) At the moment temporary tattoos seem like much more of a feasible option though :) xx

  32. When it dries down it really does look like you've got some fresh ink on your skin! I personally love the little top hat and would say give it a go ;D Also, I've been considering a tattoo as well, and I really like the pale skin, dark ink contrast! You should totally just take the plunge and go get your design :D
