My weekend...

+ Loving this amazingly sweet drawing Carly did of Ralphie and I! I would love Ralphie to be that big in real life, imagine arriving at work each day on a bunny!

+ Working on my new blog, something I'm really excited about! The idea for it came about in a coffee shop a couple of weeks ago, why are coffee shops so inspiring?!

+ Making time for some reading for Uni that I've been putting off, although I haven't done it all - oops! Time to dig out my highlighters and get the rest done this afternoon!

+ Finally doing some much-needed proper dusting - I'm notorious for just dusting around things instead of taking everything off and then dusting.

+ Pilates. This really helps me to relax and generally feel better within myself. It's something I need to incorporate into my daily routine I think. An hour in the morning would be the perfect start for the day.

+ Fighting off a cold, argh! I'm determined not to get sick this week, please pass me all of the oranges!

+ Watching The Voice - it's my guilty pleasure TV wise, love the spinny chair audition bit, after that I kind of tune out though...

+ Wandering into The Works and leaving with 5 new books. I probably shouldn't be allowed to go in there so often, their good prices are too hard to resist! I didn't even mind that I got caught in the worst storm ever on the way there, there were hail stones and everything!

+ Catching up on replying to comments. I've managed to get a little behind this week but I have a few hours today to catch up and I'm ridiculously excited to read your posts. I tend to start getting withdrawals from blog reading if I haven't had the time to squeeze any in for a few days!

Are you having a nice weekend?
I hope so!

Jennie

  3. I'm glad I'm not the only one who only enjoys The Voice during 'spinning chair stage'. My friends and I have played along sometimes, watching tv with our backs turned and only turning round if we like what we hear!

  10. I love The Works. The 3 for a fiver deal is always too tempting! I've got a cold at the moment but lots of fruit tea's seems to be helping, especially the Twinings blood orange and cranberry one. Hope you manage to fight it off!

  14. Grab some ginger too, it'll kick that cold away! Your dusting point made me laugh. I am so appalling at remembering to dust at all! We've got harry's mum visiting next week so I will have to get on with it or die of shame. Excited to see what your new blog plans are Jennie! Have a good weekend sweet lady
