I saw this tag over on Make Up Savvy, written by the fabulous Fee and I just couldn't resist doing it too! Autumn marks the beginning of everything that I adore so it's my most favourite time of the year.
* * *
1. Okay, we're talking coffee. What is your favourite seasonal drink from Starbucks/Costa/Cafe Nero?
Anything that involves hot chocolate and mint is a total winner. If it has cream & marshmallows too then it's pretty much perfect, although good vegetarian marshmallows can be difficult to come by.
2. Accessories - What do you opt for - boots, scarf, gloves?
All of them! My Gryffindor scarf is at the ready, my cosy fingerless gloves from last year aren't looking too tatty so I'll be wearing them again this season, and I was just gifted some amazing wellibobs from Joules* that are perfect for those rainy days that are getting more frequent. You can't beat a bit of puddle jumping in the Autumn, totally not just an activity for children - although watch out for the deep ones!
3. Music - What do you love to listen to during the Autumn?
For some reason I always go back to a lot of albums I listened to in my late teens, so there's a lot of Death Cab, The Shins, Bright Eyes and The Decemberists in the mix.
4. Perfume - what's your favourite scent at this time of the year?
Stella by Stella McCartney is perfection.
5. Candles - which scents will you be burning this season?
Anything with a really warm scent and a big jar of fireside treats is always welcome!
6. What do you love most about Autumn?
Those chilly, dark evenings that are so perfect for snuggling down in cosy pyjamas, wrapped up in a warm blanket with a good book and not feeling guilty or like I should be doing something else.
7. Favourite make up look?
I think I'm going to try and wear some slightly deeper lip colours. Pale nude shades have been my go-to all year, but it's difficult to resist a good berry shade at this time of the year. I have a tinted lip balm from Pixi in a pretty berry red colour so I think that might be a good one to start with.
8. What are you looking forward to most during this season?
So many things & they're mostly food related! It's soup weather and my mum makes an amazing chunky vegetable one that I'm hoping she'll send my way all the time. I also really love baking cinnamon and ginger biscuits, so I'm pretty excited to dig out all my cookie cutters again!
I tag: YOU!
