Glossybox: November 2014 Edition

November 2014 Glossybox*

+ Best Secret Access Code
+ H20+ Face Oasis Hydrating Treatment | £27.50 for 50ml
+ Lollipops Make Up Eye Pencil | €14
+ Monu Skincare Refining Capri Facial Oil | £26 for 100ml
+ Umberto Giannini Miracle Worker | £8 for 125ml
+ Burt's Bees Lip Shine | £6.99

I hadn't heard of Best Secret before (I guess they've been doing a really good job of keeping it a secret!) but from what I can gather from having a quick look around it seems to be an invitation only website with lots of discounted designer items. The H20+ Hydrating Treatment can be placed in the fridge for use as a refreshing cooling mask which sounds uh-mazing!

Facial oils are a big part of my winter skincare routine so I'm very much looking forward to trying this one from Monu. It promises to balance out the skin and decongest pores keeping breakouts at bay. I also have incredibly frizzy hair and I'm willing to try anything that says it will help. The Umberto Giannini Miracle Worker says it uses age-old beauty ingredients to instantly transform even the most dry, frizzy or coarse hair.

The Lollipops eyeliner is something that I won't use, but I have no doubt that I'll be able to find a good home for it. I like that it's a twist up pencil rather that one that needs sharpening and it seems to be pretty pigmented. My favourite item this month is the Burt's Bees Lip Shine. The colour is very sheer but it smells divine and feels really smooth on the lips. I do love a glossy lip.

What do you think of this month's box?

  1. I actually liked the look of the lollipops pencil, although not a brand I have tried before. You can't go wrong with Burts Bees.

  2. This month's Glossybox looks really good! Think their boxes have improved a lot in the past few months. I subscribed to them early last year but stopped by subscription in favour of Birchbox.. Really I'd subscribe to both if I could xx

  3. Sometimes I really miss getting my Glossybox but then I realise I ended up not using half of what I got. This actually isn't too bad a box though and the Umberto Giannini Serum is actually quite nice, actually the whole range is really nice so if your ever in Boots I suggest trying out the shampoo and the treatment as it left my hair super sleek without any frizz in sight xx

  11. I have to say, I stopped subbing to Glossybox a while ago and this is probably the first time I've regretted that decision - so impressed with this box!
