A New Book | Blogmas Day Eleven

I was walking through TK Maxx looking for Christmas gifts and my eyes met this Barnes & Noble edition of A Christmas Carol and Other Christmas Stories from across the room. I hadn't been having the best of days so I decided to buy this for myself as a 'you can totally own your to-do list even though it seems overwhelming right now' present.

We all have those days sometimes I think, and I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing to allow yourself to be a little sad for a few hours. A little cry, a beautiful new book, and a Ralphie cuddle later I was ready to plan how I was going to tackle my seemingly never-ending to-do list. My poetry essay is still no closer to being finished, but everything else is looking up. And I'm very grateful for that.
