Some Good Things.

  • Ralphie got a new house this week & it means he gets to chill all day in his favourite spot under my desk. He's also growing a mighty fine grey beard. It's very dashing.
  • The beauty in seeing someone feel free and able to be unapologetically themselves. That's sheer happiness right there.
  • The new Florence + The Machine album.

  • This calendar/planner* thingy. The design isn't totally my style, but it's undated so I can use it during the months I need to get a lot of things done and skip the times when I can get by just with a list on a piece of paper torn out of a notebook, which is usually how I roll.
  • Discovering the wonders of rowing machines. Currently every muscle in my body hurts a bit, but that's got to mean something is happening, right? I also may or may not imagine I'm out on a river on a glorious summer's day whilst I'm on it.
  • Cheerios. Especially the chocolate ones.

Now I'd really like to know what's been making YOU happy so far this week!

  2. I've never tried chocolate cheerios and somehow, this feels like a crime! I also agree that when someone is 100% themselves, it's so wonderful to see xx

  3. I love rowing machines too! I remember that some 'gym people' bought them into our primary school one day (can't really remember what it was about!) but that's when I first discovered how fun they are :) xxx

  6. Awww Ralphie it too cute. Glad he is happy with his new home. I have a love/hate relationship with the rowing machine...I like it at points as I can tell I have worked really hard but it tires me out so quickly. Like you say though, that must be a good thing! xx

  7. After being away from home for a whole school year for my first year of college, I'm finally home. Lately I've been running into a lot of old friends and recent high school graduates! It's so great to see their faces again, and it really lifts my spirits to see them excited to see me as well :P -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's

  12. Speaking of cereal, I just found an amazing gluten-free option that tastes like corn pops mixed with rice krispies, but super vanilla-y. It's heaven if you have a sweet tooth like I do!
