» Hole In My Pocket Restless Snail Greetings Card
» Kate Abey 'The World is your Oyster' Badge
» Willetts Sherbet Sweets
» Pukka 'Revitalise' Tea
» Cocktail Umbrellas
» Vintage Stamp Decorations
» Liz Lunney World & Mountains Sticker

Hello little box of fun! Over the years I've come to know the kind of things to expect when it comes to beauty boxes, but with this I was completely surprised and it was such a delight.

Firstly, hooray for veggie friendly sweeties. When I was little I used to think hard sweeties were incredibly dull, preferring to funnel in 10 jellies in the time it would take to eat one hard boiled sweet. However now I appreciate their simplicity, especially when there's a touch of sherbet in the middle.

Secondly, everything is adorable! The Inky Collective postcards are going to find frames because they make me smile, and the Hole in my Pocket snail card might just make its way into a frame too because look at its little face!! The Kate Abey badge is currently propped up on my desk along with the cocktail umbrellas and the Liz Lunney sticker. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the stamps, but they're definitely too cute not to keep hold of and I'm certain that I'll find a use for them.

The star of the box is the Travel Journal. Inside there's a selection of plain, lined and square paper & some envelopes scattered throughout to hold little treasures. I don't travel enough to fill its pages in that way, but I'm certain that I'll be scribbling down notes inside it in no time because it's too lovely not to use immediately.

Next month the theme is 'Working 9-5', keep an eye on the website or twitter page for more details, and if it's anything like this month it will undoubtedly bring a little bit of extra joy to the week.

What do you think of this month's Badger Box?

  1. I wasn't sure at first as I had never heard of them and thought it was just travel related but now I've looked at the website I'm quite intrigued. It says you can buy them as a gift so I'm hoping they'll still be around at Xmas as my sister loves this sort of thing. I do too but I prefer buying people nice presents. It's guilt free shopping! :) x
P.S- now I can't stop singing the bodger and badger theme song in my head. Help meeee.

  2. I do like the look of this one; I prefer lifestyle boxes to beauty ones and I thought you got some cute stuff, but can't help thinking that it's more than a little overpriced for what you get :S

  6. I really really like "The Great Adventures" pack, it's put together with such a sense of humour ("Glad You Are Not Here" made me chuckle). Thanks for sharing this with us. Looking forward to the "9 to 5" now, very curious... Hope you've had a lovely weekend, Jennie.

  7. Oh my gosh, I absolutely love the slug card. I agree, everything looks so cute and fun. I had no idea that beauty boxes had evolved so far, it's definitely something I'll bare in mind when it comes to gift giving.

  12. I've never heard of Badger Box before, but I really love the Great Adventures theme this month! I wonder if there's a subscription box out there that only gifts travel-related items, so like, instead of a beauty box or snack box, it'd be a travel box! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's

  20. What a cute box! I love the look of something so simple yet surprising. Like you said, with beauty boxes you grow to know what to expect but a lifestyle one like this could contain anything!
