February Favourites!

Hello lovelies! It's the start of a new month so that means it's time for my February favourites. I love these posts; I love reading them & I love writing them! This month I have 7 make up items & 1 hair care product.
First is the Sleek Storm Palette. I had been looking for one of these for ages but my Superdrug never seemed to have them in. I was lucky enough to win the beautiful Nicola's giveaway and this was one of the prizes. I love it! All the colours are beautiful and they're so easy to blend - even to an eye shadow novice like me! I think the shadows on the top row are my favourites.
Last month I was loving my Revlon ColorStay but it's just not working for me this month, it goes super cakey & that's not a good look. So instead I've gone back to my trusty Lily Lolo minerals. This beauty was the item that lead me into the beauty community! I had acne at the time and had heard good things about mineral make up & Lily Lolo but I wasn't familiar with the company. Stumbling across some reviews on YouTube sealed the deal for me and it's been a beautiful relationship ever since. I honestly believe that this does wonders for my skin - if I've got a break out and i use this those pesky spots seem to clear up super fast. The minerals are finely milled and just seem to melt into the skin. Perfect!
This is a fairly new addition & although this is a favourite of the month I'm not completely thrilled with this. Sexy Curves is a mascara that seems to be a hit with a lot of people & I'm thinking that the non waterproof formula may be better than this waterproof one. I like the wand, I like what it does to my lashes but blimey, if any of this gets into my eye it stings a lot! It just means I have to be careful & 9 times out of 10 it's lovely. But I'm interested in hearing some of your mascara recommendations - which ones are you loving right now?
As I was scouring the shelves of Superdrug I found this simply huge bottle of Tresemme shampoo on offer for £2 & instantly thought bargain alert! My usual Naked Bodycare shampoo hasn't been cutting it lately & think my hair was crying out for a change and I love this. It does give my hair added volume, softness and it smells so good. It lathers so so well that you only need a tiny bit at a time. This is going to last me ages!
This was also among my prizes from Nicola's contest & I think Pink Pout is the lipstick that has started my love for mattes. It's quite a bright colour but completely wearable & not drying. I've been reaching for this a lot this month.
A forgotten gem! This had fallen to the bottom of my make up box and I'd forgotten about it completely - not good and I don't even have that much make up! This is in the shade Miami & it works so well paired with a variety of pink lipsticks. These are very very minty which I love and fairly sticky which I also love. At £3.50 these are a steal & I shall definitely be picking up some more shades.
These last two items are very new additions to my collection but I couldn't not mention them - and yes I've kept the boxes, don't mock! This is Fable lipstick which is a matte beautiful pink & I'm in love. I don't think I need to say much more. ♥
Finally we have Unrequited powder blush from Illamasqua and I think it's safe to say this is my absolute favourite of the month. I will be forever grateful to my boyfriend for treating me to this! It is very pigmented and one touch of the brush to the product is enough for both cheeks to last the entire day. Worth the £16.50 it absolutely is; I think it'll last me a lifetime!
Have you tried any of these products, what do you think of them? What's your favourite product of February?

  1. Great favourites, I love the sleek palettes! I really want to try stuff from illamasqua! & Ive heard loads of great things about that masacara so should really try it too (maybe in the normal version as I always poke my self in the eye haha!) XO
