After kicking my hideous nail biting habit I recently rediscovered my love of nail polish & remembered how much prettier my hands look when I make an effort. That has temporarily come to an abrupt end since I have managed to break every single nail packing and moving boxes but as soon as I've moved house I'm going on a healthy nail mission & I'm going to invest in a good nail strengthener!
Please excuse my abnormally large hands. They are indeed practically man hands!
This is
Blue Hawaii from Collection 2000, I got this at the end of last summer when I was shopping with my boyfriend and I asked him to pick out a colour for me & I think he did a good job! I love this polish because it dries so quickly! I can do two coats in under 5 minutes and that's what I look for in a nail polish because for some reason I always find things that I need to do immediately after I've painted my nails and waiting an age for them to dry is boring. The colour of this is beautiful, it reminds me of the ocean in a tropical climate, like Hawaii funnily enough, and I know I'll be wearing this a lot on my toes this summer! This does chip easily on me but knowing polishes from this range are so quick to apply, I don't really mind that so much. For £1.79 I don't think you can really go wrong and I've convinced myself that I need to go and get some more shades from
this range soon because it looks like they have some super cute summery colours!
What are your favourite summer nail polish colours? What's your favourite quick drying nail polish range?
xoxo
This is a great shade for summer! I recommend you to try "Y'all come back ya hear" from OPI or their new collection "Pirates of Caribbean".
ReplyDeleteI love bright shades for summer but also I love my nudes/milky shades! :)
I love this color! I've been dying to purchase some bright blue nail polish for a while but haven't gotten around to it. I'm gonna have to google to see if this brand is available in the US, haha. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a great colour!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to be finished preparing for my stall so I can paint my nails on Friday!
I love nudes and light browns as well as toothpaste green!
Love blue nail polish :-) I'm loving nail art at the minute and currently have strawberry nails. I bought a Sally Hansen Nail hardener yesterday x
ReplyDelete@Shopperita - I will do, thank you for the recommendation!
ReplyDelete@Stefany - I hope you'll be able to find it, or at least something very similar!
@Raffles Bizarre - Ahh toothpaste greens are gorgeous!

I really love that colour - so summery! I've been using elf nail varnishes recently and they are AMAZING! They don't chip for days, dry really quickly and only cost £1.50!
ReplyDeleteI've got the Bongo Beat shade and it's beautiful :) xx
ReplyDeletegreat color! :D
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely, bright and summery. My old standbys for summer are GOSH Peachy and Barry M Coral. Also, I'm impressed that your fella picked it out for you - mine is terrified of nail polish :D
ReplyDeleteI love this polish, You do have to apply a good couple of coats to get a decent shade. I have this brand but in Wham! and it's good polish :)
ReplyDeleteCheck out my blog here
Love the shade, need to try collection 2000's nail varnishe's out. I need a nail hardener too xx
ReplyDeleteWow this colours is stunning, so vibrant and tropical. I never usually go for blues but I think this is really pretty xx :o)
ReplyDeleteLove the colour! Very summery. Different to a lot of blues out there.
ReplyDeleteLove this color...I honestly haven't found any nail polishes that dry "ultra fast" or any faster then normal nail polishes...I only notice when I get ones that take an extra long time to dry!!

Arrgh I still have that hideous nail biting habit! I see all these amazing nail polish / nail art posts and wish I could have pretty nails too but I can't seem to stop biting them. I think it's my way of releasing stress. :( That colour is so gorgeous though! x x
ReplyDeleteThe color is cute! I've been trying to add more to my nail collection. xo
ReplyDeleteI have also recently stopped biting and I cannot recommend OPI's Nail Envy enough. It's expensive but seriously, I have had 5 breakages max in around 3 months. It's a actual miracle worker! x
ReplyDeleteI recommend OPI Nail Envy too! I use Dry and Brittle, it's on offer for ~£13 at Boots at the mo
