L'Occitane Angelica Instant Hydration Mask♦ (£19 - 75ml) |
When my skin is feeling dry there is no other product that does as good a job at offering instant hydration as the L'Occitane Angelica Instant Hydration Mask. This is a gel mask that goes on clear so you wouldn't look totally crazy if you were wanting to apply this on a long haul flight, which I think this would be incredible for. Sadly I don't have any tropical holidays planned so I have just been using this whenever my skin needs a little pick me up. You can leave it on for as little as three minutes and it will still work it's magic so if you're in need of a quick fix this is the product for you. I often leave it on for longer just because it feels so lovely on the skin & I love a little pamper session every now and then. I simply gently remove the excess with a dry cotton wool pad & then spritz my face with either the Caudalie Beauty Elixir or the Avene Thermal Water Spray afterwards. If I have time I tend to let my skin sit for about 15 minutes before moisturising to let the beneficial ingredients from the mask work their magic for as long as possible, but when I'm a little short for time I find applying moisturiser directly after removing the mask is perfect too.
I reach for this whenever I feel like my skin needs it but I would say I have been using it around twice a week for the past month and my skin overall seems to be a lot brighter, hydrated and more plump than it was a few months ago. In terms of the scent I'm not the biggest fan but it's certainly not unpleasant. It's quite floral and natural but it's not overpowering and I actually think it's something that has grown on me over the past couple of weeks. At £19 for 75ml it's certainly not the cheapest mask around but you only need a small amount each time and skincare is something I'm always willing to invest in when I see such positive results.
Have you ever tried this from L'Occitane?
