Review: Topshop Brighton Rock Lipstick.

Topshop Brighton Rock lipstick. (£8.)
Brighton Rock lipstick from Topshop has to be one of my favourite lip colours of all time. It's one of those pink colours that's bold, but it's not too bright and you can totally make it work for daytime as well as night time. I really like that it's not super blue toned, it tends to look like a fairly neutral pink on my complexion. You can apply a small amount mixed with a bit of lip balm for a more sheer colour or you can use it directly from the tube for a beautiful statement lip colour.

Like all Topshop lipsticks the quality is really lovely. It has a satin finish, it's not too glossy but it also doesn't feel too matte or drying on the lips. It lasts really well and also wears really well throughout the day, so if you don't want to top up your lip colour too often this fades evenly into a really pretty pinky-rose stain.

I absolutely loved this shade during the summer and I know I'll be reaching for it just as much during the colder months as well. It's one of those universal shades that look pretty with almost every outfit. These Topshop lipsticks feel much more expensive than £8 and I think they're worth every penny!

Have you ever tried any Topshop make up before?

Weekend Wish List.

It's early, well early for me, on a Sunday morning, I've got my mug of hot chocolate in my pink cupcake mug and I've just crawled back into bed because it is absolutely freezing cold. I opened Ralphie's hutch door, he hopped out, went over to the radiator and promptly fell asleep. He knows it's Sunday! What better way to start a lazy Sunday with this and a little bit of window shopping!
1. ASOS Faux Fur Bunny Ear Hat. 2. Clinique Whole Lotta Colour Chubby Stick Gift Set. 3. Topshop Stardust Nail Polish. 4. Mango Tweed Car Coat. 5. Chanel Les Tissages De Chanel Tweed Effect Blush Duo in Tweed Rose. 6. Sienna X Cream to Powder Bronzer & Illuminator.

ASOS Faux Fur Bunny Ear Hat.
I may have let out a small squeal as soon as I saw this ASOS Faux Fur Bunny Ear Hat. I'd go so far as to say that this is definitely the bestest-most amazingest-beautifulest hat I've ever seen. Ever. The question is, would I wear it? And more importantly, will my boyfriend go out in public with me wearing this? Answers on a postcard please because I LOVE it, but it's a bit on the pricey side!

Clinique Whole Lotta Colour Chubby Stick Gift Set.
I've never tried a Clinique Chubby Stick before but all the reviews I've read have been super positive about them. This little gift set has been doing the blogger rounds recently and basically I need it in my life! Usually in these kinds of sets there's a few colours that I couldn't see myself wearing, but in this set all of the colours look really wearable and pretty. It's not bad value either at £30.

Topshop Nail Polish in Stardust.
It's gold, it's glittery and it's called Stardust. This Topshop nail polish is just sheer perfection!

Mango Tweed Car Coat.
I don't think I've ever purchased anything from Mango before, it's never really been a brand on my fashion radar but this Tweed Car Coat is so beautiful! I'm not often drawn to pieces that don't emphasise the waist, but there's something about the super relaxed cut of this that draws me in. It's only £40 as well which, for a coat, I think it's really reasonable. I'm not sure how warm it would be though!

Chanel Tweed Effect Blush Duo in Tweed Rose.
I seem to be on a bit of a tweed kick right now. I think it's because the days are slowly getting colder and I associate it with snuggly warm coats. This Chanel blush clearly won't keep me snuggly and warm, but it would make my cheeks happy! It's a whopping £33 though, so I'm not sure I'll be purchasing any time soon. I think I'll just admire it from afar!

Sienna X Cream to Powder Bronzer & Illuminator.
Since trying their powder bronzer, I'm well and truly hooked on Sienna X. During the winter I love to wear more cream products so this little bronzer and illuminator duo looks so perfect! I love the way that cream products apply and the slight powder finish would ensure it stayed on all day! I'm trying to justify this one to myself!

What's on your current wish list?
Have you tried any of these before?

P.S. I hope you're having a wonderful Sunday! ♥

Review: Montagne Jeunesse Dragon Fruit Sauna Face Mask.

Montagne Jeunesse Dragon Fruit Sauna Face Mask♦ (£1.29)
Montagne Jeunesse face masks are always a really lovely treat for your skin, they're super affordable and best of all, they're all suitable for vegetarians. This Dragon Fruit Sauna mask is one of the newest additions to the range & it may just be my absolute favourite!

This self warming mask promises to reach into your pores removing trapped oil and dirt leaving you with smooth & super clean skin. It contains watermelon to boost radiance and it's suitable for all skin types, except perhaps super sensitive. It warms up pretty much as soon as you apply it and it feels really nice, not too intense, it just seems to feel like it's doing something good for your skin. I left it on for 20 minutes and as soon as I removed it my skin felt so clean and super fresh. It smells really fruity, but it's not too sweet or over powering so it's a real pleasure to use.

The next day I noticed my skin felt a lot more balanced, the dry areas on my skin were hydrated and the slightly oilier areas felt properly cleansed. I have already purchased a second one of these and I think I'll make this my weekly Sunday evening skin treat. At £1.29 per sachet it's super affordable and I think you'd definitely be able to get two masks out of one sachet, if you have a spare plastic air tight pot for storage, as they give you a really generous amount.

Have you ever tried any masks from Montagne Jeunesse?
What is your favourite mask at the moment?

What I Wore: Autumn.

Trench Coat: Primark. Tee: Hero&Cape♦ Skirt: Vero Moda. Bag: DSUK via Brand VillageGlasses: Ralph Lauren via Pretavoir
It feels like forever since I last posted an outfit of the day but I figured my usual pyjama attire wouldn't really cut in the world of fashion blogging, although my penguin pj's are mighty amazing I'll have you know! It's no secret that Autumn is my favourite season and I've been waiting to wear my beloved trench coat for ages. It's from Primark a good few years ago now and although it's seen better days, I think I'll get another season or two out of it. I love that classic pieces like this never get old or go out of style. Simplicity is key sometimes!

My tee was a beautiful gift from the guys over at Hero&Cape. If you haven't checked out their store yet, I can guarantee that you're missing out. They take basic, but beautifully cut tees, and add their own hand printed graphic designs to them, transforming them into something super cute and stylish at the same time. This little gold moustache man tee instantly caught my eye because he's so cute! His bowler hat is truly spiffing ol' chap!

This beautiful satchel bag from DSUK adds a small 'pop' of colour to an otherwise pretty neutral outfit. It's structured and simple but it also has lovely intricate details that gives it a little bit of extra dimension. The red colour is bold yet understated at the same time, it's the most perfectly appropriate colour for Autumn and I think this is going to be my staple bag for this season.

Yesterday we went to our local garden centre where they've just opened their Christmas shop and it was like stepping into a winter wonderland. I am so excited for Christmas this year and I'm already planning how I'm going to decorate our house. Too early? Perhaps. But Christmas is just the best!

What is your number one must have item for the Autumn & Winter?

Review: Ralph Lauren glasses via Pretavoir.

Ralph Lauren 6080 glasses♦ via Pretavoir. (£92).
I was 13 when I first needed to wear glasses and it has pretty much taken me 10 years to find glasses that I truly feel comfortable and confident wearing. I'm so incredibly picky when it comes to frames, I have the biggest face in the world so little glasses only end up making my face look super fat. That's not a good look! I've had these Cliff frames from Lucky Brand for around a year and I absolutely love them; they're bold, they're slightly retro and importantly, they're oversized. But I was looking for something different. I was so over the moon when Pretavoir got in touch and invited me to pick out a pair of glasses that I liked. I am so grateful for all the wonderful opportunities that blogging has given me over the past few years and I am so head over heels in love with my new glasses.

Pretavoir is a website packed full of so many wonderful glasses from a huge array of different brands including Ray Ban, Chanel and Marc Jacobs. Everything is categorised by brand, whether they are sunglasses or optical glasses and then finally all of the colours the frames come in are listed. Importantly, the photographs are all super clear, frame measurements are provided and their lenses are also really reasonably priced! Delivery was speedy and I think they're one of the best online glasses retailers around right now. I think I spent an entire evening looking through the website, I made a list of all the frames I liked and eventually settled on the Ralph Lauren 6080 glasses in the colour JC Havana.

They're super oversized, very statement and I totally appreciate that they're not everybody's cup of tea. But I simply adore them. I went for the Havana shade because I liked how much softer than solid black they look and I thought with such large statement glasses that black might have been a bit too much. They're comfortable to wear, lightweight and it's amazing how large my field of view is now compared to my other glasses, it's almost like having perfect vision again!

What do you think of my new glasses? You can be honest!
Are you a glasses wearer? Are you as picky as I am when it comes to frames?

P.S. I have to give a shout out to the amazing guys over at Ciliary Blue who popped my (slightly complicated) prescription lenses in these frames for a fraction of the price highstreet opticians charge in lightening speed. They were all done and on their way back to me within two hours of them receiving them. If you need new lenses putting in glasses you already love then I highly highly highly recommend Ciliary blue!

Review: NEOM Luxury Organics Harmonise Home Candle.

NEOM Luxury Organics Harmonise Home Candle♦ (39.50)
As Autumn and winter set in, I can't help but want to spend the evenings snuggled up in a huge blanket with candles burning in the background. There's something about candles that create such a cosy ambiance. And I really hate the word ambiance. I always feel like a pretentious so and so saying or using the word ambiance, but sometimes it's appropriate. Without a doubt NEOM candles are the most luxurious and gorgeous candles I have ever tried, ever! Granted they do have a price tag to match, but honestly, it's totally worth it!

Harmonise Home Candle is one of the newest scents to the NEOM range. A beautiful blend of Pine, Cedarwood and Eucalyptus makes this a wonderfully unisex scent, my boyfriend loves it as much as I do, and it's totally perfect for this season. The scent easily fills the entire upstairs of our little cottage but it never seems to feel too overpowering or too much. It's not sweet or floral, it's very natural and woodsy. It's like going for a brisk walk in the woods on a crisp Autumn day. It's just perfection.

NEOM candles are also treatment candles, they're made using vegetable wax and pure essential oils, so they're as good for your mind and your well being as they are for scenting your home. This scent is both calming and uplifting at the same time. If the day has been stressful or super busy, I look forward to snuggling in the evening with this candle burning.

The packaging is chic, understated and sophisticated and NEOM promises up to 50 hours of burn time. There's not been one product from the whole range that I haven't absolutely loved. A truly luxurious brand that really seems to deliver every time, I'm well and truly impressed and a few of my nearest and dearest can be expecting something from NEOM sitting under their Christmas trees on Christmas morning!

Have you ever tried anything from the NEOM range?
Are you a candle lover in the Autumn and Winter?

Ralphie's Diary #7

Everyday Make Up: Pink Cheeks & Lips.

Today is a designated essay writing day for me. Well, I say that but right now I'm writing this and in a minute I'm going to go and bake a carrot cake. So, yeah. Maybe it's not a designated essay writing day. But I will be doing some. Maybe. Normally I wouldn't have put make up on at all but I just felt like making myself feel a little more human this morning, it's just one of those days I think!

Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation is my current favourite, with a bit of Jemma Kidd Dewy Glow All Over Radiance Creme in Iced Gold. I love the added glow that the highlighter gives my complexion and I'm still trying to relive some summer days so bronzer is a bit of a must have for me at the moment. I'm not quite ready to totally embrace my casper-like complexion just yet! Also please excuse my horrendous dark circles, nothing seems to want to cover them right now! Dior Rosy Glow blush is the perfect shade to perk up my complexion and make me look more awake and this Rimmel lipstick I picked up on a whim has become one of my current favourites!

What is your current absolute must have make up item? I would love to know!
