Liz Earle Signature Foundation♦ (£21) |
I have the lightest shade, Porcelain and although meant for more pink-based skin tones it matches my fair and slightly yellow toned complexion perfectly. This may just be one of the best foundation colour matches I've ever had, I'm very impressed! It reminds me a lot of the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation in terms of finish, it's neither too matte nor too dewy, it just looks like skin and it's very natural. I would describe my skin currently as normal to dry with especially dehydrated patches on my cheeks and nose. It can tend to slightly highlight the particularly dry areas on my face, in the pictures the dryness on my nose has been highlighted, but that's nothing a good moisturiser underneath won't fix.
It gives a light to medium coverage and can be built up to a certain extent, but I think you'd definitely struggle to get super full coverage. It blends effortlessly over the skin, it's one of those foundations that is super fast to apply with either a brush or your fingers, it barely takes anytime in the mornings which is always a good thing in my eyes! It feels really comfortable on the skin and I've found that it easily lasts all day without the need to touch up at all.
This is one of the best foundations I've tried out all year and I'd go so far as to say this would make it in to my top 10 products of 2012 easily! I've spied that they have some cream blushes in the range that I would love to try and I've heard a lot about the Sheer Skin Tint as well!
Have you ever tried any Liz Earle products before?
