L'Occitane Pivoine Délicate Lipstick♦ (£12.50) |
Described as enhancing your natural lip colour by adding a delicate pink veil of colour this is exactly what this lipstick does. It's nothing too overpowering, it just adds a soft nude pink colour to your lips that ties your whole make up look together, no matter what other colours you're wearing on your eyes and cheeks.
The texture is absolutely perfect, it has extracts of Peony which help to make the texture so soft and I would describe it as being similar to a MAC Lustre lipstick. It has that lovely hint of glossiness without being overly shiny, the colour is rich and pigmented but not too bold and it feels so lightweight and comfortable. This is a shade that needs reapplying a few times throughout the day, but its balmy texture and wearable colour means that you don't need to worry about digging out a mirror from your bag and it always applies evenly.
At £12.50 it's getting towards the pricey side without tipping over on to the super high end scale. It's more expensive than a Topshop lipstick but it's less expensive than a MAC lipstick; definitely a treat purchase but one that's worth every single penny.
Have you tried any L'Occitane make up?
Do the natural shades appeal to you or are you a lover of brighter shades?
xoxo
This looks utterly lovely, Jennie! What a great colour and I love L'Occitane products, currently adoring their rose handcream!

I wouldn't say it's quite as hydrating as a lip balm but it's definitely not drying & doesn't highlight dry areas on my lips <3
