What Peggy Said is a truly wonderful blog packed full of all things vintage and crafty. Kim is so naturally creative and super talented that every time I see one of her DIY's I instantly want to give it a go even though I know mine will never look quite as good as hers! If you're looking for a bit of inspiration or a blog to make your heart smile then this is the one for you! A true must read! ♥
For the longest time I put off buying the famous NARS Orgasm blush because I was convinced that I didn't need it, it was just over-hyped and it wouldn't be as good as everyone says. I was wrong. I did need this, I'm very happy to have it now and I've worn it pretty much every day for over a month. This isn't the most special blush I own, I can't even put my finger on exactly why I like this so much at the moment but I do love it! I may also have bought Deepthroat at the same time, shh! And what is up with those names, NARS?! My mama and I had a good giggle over them when she asked what they were called. We're so mature!
If I didn't have my Paperchase filofax I think I'd be completely and utterly lost. At the start I was determined to keep it all neat & tidy, just like I did whenever I got to start writing in a new exercise book at school. And just like at school, that phase didn't last very long. Now I'm constantly scribbling notes on every available page and it always has to be in the same room as me if I want to stay organised and manage to get things done without getting distracted!
I think I'm stuck in a bit of a clothing rut. All I want to wear are big cosy jumpers and pyjama pants but unfortunately these aren't acceptable items of clothing to go out in public wearing in the daytime, apparently. I personally think this is silly & pyjamas should be acceptable outside clothes too. But aside from pj's, my absolute staple piece right now is this black blazer from AX Paris. Seriously, it has been my lifesaver. It's one of those pieces that you can throw on over practically any thing and it really pulls the outfit together instantly making it look like I've put a little bit of effort in, when really I haven't at all!
My question this week is a make up related one, I would like to know what your favourite under eye concealer is? I'm on the look out for a new one and honestly, I have no idea which to go for. Price doesn't really bother me, but I'd prefer it to be under £15. The most important thing is it has to not crease! Any help would be much appreciated!
I hope you're having a lovely Sunday afternoon!

Lovely photos of Bailey and Ralphie! :)
ReplyDeleteI really really need Orgasm, I have Deepthroat and love it. I always have a giggle over the names too hehe.
Your filofax is gorgeous!
Jesss xo
Aww thank you! xo
DeleteYay. I love Nars Orgasm. I could honestly throw away every other blush I own and only use this forever and I wouldn't be disappointed. It's such a pretty colour.
ReplyDeleteIt really is, I was missing out for so long! xo
Deletelove this post, Bailie is adorable! I love the Bobbie Brown Creamy Concealer but for under £15 you could give the Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer a go? Hope your having a lovely weekend xx
ReplyDeleteI find the Bourjois one a little drying which is such a shame because I love the foundation! ox
DeleteBailey just looks so contented in the snow! My pup loves it too but hates the ice lol. I would say for under £15 go for the Bourjois Healthy Mix Conceealer. A little goes a long way and lasts for ages x
ReplyDeleteAww so cute! I actually don't like that one very much, I find it a bit drying! xo
DeleteBailey and Ralphie are just adorable! I love how dogs react to snow, mine just eats eat and loves barking at snowmen!
ReplyDeleteI love the filofax, it is so cute! x
Aww that's SO cute! <3
DeleteBailey and ralphie are sooooo cute!! Ralphie looks like a right little character :) .. I tend to use collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer under my eyes!! Cheap, cheerful and seems to do the job xx
ReplyDeleteI love that concealer, but I prefer it for blemishes & redness I think! xo
DeleteSo sweet of you to say What Peggy Said is your fave blog this sweet - thanks so much! xxx
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! <3
DeleteI've totally convinced myself I don't need Orgasm and then whenever I read anyone posting about it I totally unconvince myself :L
ReplyDeleteConcealer wise I like bobbi brown, mac studio finish and collection 2000, currently trialing erase paste by Benefit but not too sure yet!
Hehe I really love it & I think you will too! <3
DeleteI've really enjoyed taking my dogs for walks in the snow this week! It's lovely to see them having so much fun :) I really like your blazer too. I'm always on the lookout for one like that but can never find one that looks good on me.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite under-eye concealer is Benefit's Boi-ing but it's expensive at £16.50. I wish I could say the famous Collection concealer was the one for me, but it just made my under-eye circles stand out!
Aww doggies in the snow are so adorable! <3
DeleteYour dog is so so cute!! Love the blush too! :) ♥

I don't like it for under my eyes :( xo
DeleteI use a Lancôme Effacernes Concealer under my eyes. It is pricy but I've always got it as a present. The first one I got was for my 21st nearly two years ago now and it only completely ran out a month ago! You definitely get your moneys worth out it!

Ooh I've not tried that before, will look into it! Thanks hun! xo
DeleteEeeeep, I've been trying to convince myself that I don't need Nars' Orgasm! I hear so many people rave about it though, so I just might have to get it in the near future.
ReplyDeleteMaybelline's Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting concealer is one of my favorites. It does a great job at brightening the under eye area, but doesn't offer full coverage.
It's such a pretty colour!
DeleteOoh I've heard a lot of good things about that, will have a look! xo
it's so amazing to know your favourites <3
ReplyDelete<3
DeleteAbsolutely love that filofax! I agree with Charli's comment above, the concealer is great!
ReplyDelete<3
DeleteThis post is so stunning visually! Ralphie is sooo cute!
ReplyDeleteMy fave under eye concealer is Rimmel's True Match, it highlights more than anything,
so I find it more flattering.
Jayde xo
I'll have a look at that, thanks lovely! xo
DeleteAhhh Bailey and Ralphie are super duper cute!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI bought the Nars blush in deep throat in November and now I really need more... They are such good quality!!
For concealer, I use the collection lasting perfecting one, but I've heard the Rimmel wake me up one is good too xx
They are lovely! <3
DeleteTry the collection lasting perfection concealer. I ALWAYS repurchase it! I love seeing animals reaction to the snow. Both my dogs loved it! Bounding around the garden!

It's so useful and helps that it's pretty too! <3
DeleteBlazers are so great! I have a couple and I don't know how I would get dressed for sort-of-special-occasions-but-not-really if I didn't own any! <3
ReplyDeleteThey are completely amazing! xo
DeleteI am so tempted to try the Nars blushers... but like you said..do I actually NEED them? Probably not!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite concealer is the Estee Lauder under-eye disappear one.. not as full coverage as the double wear but a lot more natural! Sometimes if I look particuarly tired/shite I mix the two together..works a treat!!
x
Ooh I'll look into that concealer, thank you lovely! xo
DeleteAww Ralphie is so adorable! And i love that blush too! ♥
ReplyDelete<3

Aww! <3
DeleteAww Ralphie looks amazingly cute here, almost as if he's just about to sit down and watch tv with all his little snacks around him (: My favourite under eye concealer is the blogging cliché of Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. It really does do the trick! Although I can't seem to find the perfect shade for me (: xx
ReplyDeleteAwww! <3
DeleteI love NARS Orgasm! Super Orgasm sounds mighty promising too, haha! x
ReplyDeletethat-bird.blogspot.co.uk
Haha it does! xo
DeleteGreat Post. I love your PaperChase Filofax it's so pretty xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you lovely! xo
DeleteLovely post - your dog is so sweet! My fave under eye concealer is Benefit Boi ing - I know thats more expensive than you wanted but being 34 I am always conscious about things creasing in my fine lines & this doesn't. I have the Bobbi Brown creamy concealer and that creases. The Benefit one is the best I have found
ReplyDeletehttp://www.letstalkbeauty.co.uk/
Ooh I have Benefit Boi-ing but never really use it under my eyes, I'll give it a go! Thanks lovely! <3
DeleteThere should be a casual Friday type thing where one day a week everyone can go out in their comfiest gear!
ReplyDeleteI think that sounds like an amazing idea! ox
DeleteOooh I love the blazer xo
ReplyDeleteIt's got such a lovely fit! <3
DeleteI love your Paperchase filofax, it's a pretty little design x
ReplyDeletepeoniesandlilies.com
It's super sweet <3
DeleteNARS Orgasm is on my hitlist as well - I think it would be the perfect item to introduce myself to NARS.
ReplyDeleteConcealer wise - I either love Collection lasting perfection, Benefit Erase Paste or Gosh liquid concealer (can't remember what it is called).
It's SO pretty! I think you'll really like it! xo
DeleteRalphie looks so adorable in the bed! What cute dogs :) I have both Orgasm and Deep Throat and they're excellent blushes - among my favourites for sure. The black blazer looks really comfortable and flattering! I'm in a bit of a clothing rut as well, but sometimes all it takes is one really well-designed, versatile piece to pique your interest again. I don't use undereye concealer so I would need as many suggestions as you :)
ReplyDeleteThey are both so lovely! xo
DeleteI like to use Clinique concealer for my under eyes! My husband bought it for me and I'm amazed he got my shade right.. I love it and I can't be seen without it (okay, slight exaggeration but still)
