November Love Me Beauty Box* £10 + p&p |
This month there are three products that are consistent across all three of the menus and two products that are different in each. The two that vary are colour products so that element of choice means that you won't be stuck with a product you want to use but can't because you don't like the shade or you think it wouldn't suit you as much as one of the other colours. This month I chose option three so lets have a look at what's inside...
Absolution Le Soin Purifiant Masque.
The first product that is the same throughout all three of the boxes, this a skin-renewing mask that promises to rid skin of impurities while giving a boost of radiance, tightening pores and soothing. I've never heard of Absolution before but this mask sounds like something my skin needs right now so I'm really excited to give this a try. It's almost like a lotion in consistency which hopefully means that a little will go a long way so I'll be able to get quite a few uses out of this sample and although it doesn't have the nicest scent in the world, it's not unpleasant either.
This is a 40ml sample size.
The full size 50ml product retails for £24.
Jelly Pong Pong 2-in-1 Shadow/Liner in Bronze.
This is the second product that is the same throughout all three of the boxes. I received one of these in a past GlossyBox in a green shade and I loved the product but the colour wasn't something I could see myself reaching for very often so it's really lovely to have one in a wearable and super pretty bronze shade. These are fabulous because once they set, they don't budge even on my oily eyelids, which is really saying something! I'll definitely be reaching for this when I want a little more definition at my lash line, quickly smudging it out a little before it sets into place.
This is a full size product that retails for £10.50.
Mitchell and Peach Shower Wash.
The final product that is the consistent throughout all three of the options this month is a mini Mitchell and Peach shower gel. I've had a sample from Mitchell and Peach in the past and I remember really liking it so I'm happy to have this sample size, which will be perfect to travel with. It's made with pure essential oils and having taken inspiration from the English countryside, it smells really fresh and lovely!
This is a 50ml sample size.
The full size 250ml product retails for £20.
Models Own Nail Polish in Red Alert.
Models Own are a brand that I'm pretty sure makes almost every colour of nail polish you could ever imagine and there are three to choose from across the boxes this month. I chose Red Alert, which is a gorgeous true red because it really appealed to my festive spirit and I'm using it as inspiration to grow my nails so I can paint them this colour in time for Christmas - I have a month, lets see how I get on!! The other colour options in the other boxes are Hot Pink, a stunning pink and Prussian Blue, a rich navy.
This is a full size product that retails for £5.
Art Deco Hydra Lip Booster in Translucent Rose.
The final product this month is a lipgloss and I think this is my favourite product of them all. Again there are three different colours to choose from this month and I have Translucent Rose a neutral pink - the other colours are Translucent Rosewood, a slightly more nude colour and Translucent Wood Rose, a slightly deeper, more berry shade. Promising to hydrate as well as provide a hint of colour and a beautiful shine, I can see me getting a lot of use out of this. On my lips this is mostly a clear gloss with a tiny hint of pink, which is exactly what I was hoping for because I'm going through a phase of really minimal make up and I think a super sheer glossy lip is really beautiful. It feels really comfortable on the lips, super smooth and not sticky at all. It's love!
This is a full sized product that retails for 11.50.
An Added Extra.
As an apology from Lord & Berry for the slightly too-dry mascara last month they have included a full-size lipstick worth £12 in all boxes this month, which I think is a really wonderful gesture. It shows that they & Love Me Beauty really care about their customers and their opinions. I do love great customer service and I think they've excelled themselves here. The shade I received is called Brick Lip and although it isn't a colour that would suit me, I'm going to find it a home with someone who will really enjoy it. The formula is smooth, highly pigmented and it looks like it will feel really comfortable to wear.
What do you think of this month's Love Me Beauty Box?

DeleteI always want to sign up to these beauty boxes but then get put off when they have off months. It's a great idea to give colour variants though, as that seems to be a big problem across the boxes.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a really positive element of the box xo
DeleteThat shower wash sounds amazing. Love the nail polish colour too. I always get jealous when I see other people's posts about beauty boxes, but I don't think that I would ever subscribe myself.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful colour <3
DeleteOoh I like the sound of these boxes, may have to check them out! I always worry with beauty boxes that I'll get stuff that I won't like or use, so getting a choice is really appealing to me.
