- Organic Surge Spiced Lily Foaming Bath.
Long bubble baths are something I have to try and not indulge in every single night before bed, but I totally would if I could. One of my all time favourite bath products is the Spiced Lily Foaming Bath from Organic Surge, especially for this time of the year because it has a real Christmas scent. It's a little bit spicy, very warming and utterly relaxing. One I've repurchased countless times now and I hope they never stop making it!
- HealGel Face*
HealGel is a brand that I have been completely loving over the past few month because all of their products are incredibly beautiful and I haven't been disappointed with HealGel Face either. This really nourishes my skin, immediately soothing without leaving any oily residue and it sinks in completely almost instantly. I've been using it mostly in the mornings because it makes a really good base for make up and it means I don't have to faff around with a lot of different products, I just use this, some SPF and I'm good to go with applying my make up.
- Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey.
October was a month for mostly very simple, minimal make up and although I did reach for a bright lip a few times, my trusty Revlon Balm Stain in Honey has been my go-to coloured lip product. This is one of those things that's so easy to throw in my make up bag and apply on the go without having to worry about it. Honey is a very neutral shade that just gives my lips a small amount of colour and the balm is super smooth & although not the most hydrating, it leaves my lips feeling very comfortable.
- Lanolips 101 Ointment*
When the weather starts to get colder it is always my lips that feels the chill first and because of that, I'm a bit of a lip balm addict. I have quite a lot of favourites but I think I have a new addition in the Lanolips 101 Ointment. This is one of those fabulous multi-use products, apparently you can even use it on squeaky doors although I've not tried it, but I've mostly just been using it as a very intensive lip balm. It's incredibly thick and often a little difficult to squeeze out of the tube, but it's incredibly hydrating and leaves a really pretty gloss on the lips. A really lovely little product although I'm not sure I like the lipstick-wearing-sheep logo.
- Stila Convertible Colour in Gerbera.
Continuing on my minimal make up theme, my go-to blush for October was the Stila Convertible Colour in Gerbera and I think this might just be my all-time favourite blusher. It's a beautiful neutral shade that gives a pretty flush of colour and really helps to sculpt my face a little too, which is always an added bonus when you have a moon face like I do! I might just have to look into a couple of other shades in the range, even though I really, really shouldn't...
- The Rose Tree Carrot & Mango Cleansing Butter*
I do love a good cleansing balm and the Carrot & Mango Cleansing Butter from The Rose Tree is a really good one! Packed full of beautiful ingredients I feel like this really nourishes my skin while removing the last traces of make up really gently, without leaving an oily residue. A small amount of this goes such a long way and I'm really looking forward to continue using this into the depths of winter.
What were your favourite products during October?
Love, Jennie

DeleteYour photographs are always so beautiful <3
ReplyDeleteThe carrot and mango cleansing butter sounds amazing! I suppose natural products do so much better than overly processed creams can do.
I must also try Lanolips because I read that they produce a banana lip balm and I have to have it! I'm entirely sold based on your opinion, and they get bonus points for having a sheep on their packaging.
