Stila Colour Me Pretty Palette - £19.50 (Shades L-R: Kitten, Peony, Gerbera, Rose & Petunia)
Tucked away in my make up stash is a Stila Convertible Colour in Gerbera and I would go so far as to say that it's my absolute favourite cream blush of all time, even beating my beloved Illamasqua ones. When I saw that Stila were bringing out the Colour Me Pretty Palette with five Convertible Colours inside, I knew that it would only be a matter of time before I was hitting the checkout button and happily handing over £20. I don't even mind that Gerbera is one of the shades in the palette, it's such a lovely and wearable colour that I don't mind having duplicate.
If I'm being completely honest I'm not sold on the packaging. I do like the idea of the tin and the fact it's really easy to keep clean, I just think it feels a teeny bit flimsy. But it's totally not a deal breaker for me, I still have a lot of love for this palette, it doesn't look cheap at all and I do still think it's worth every penny.
Stila Convertible Colour in Kitten.
Before it arrived this was the colour I was least excited about. I thought it might be too intense to work as a highlight shade on my skin tone but I was totally wrong. A little blended on to the tops of my cheekbones gives the prettiest glow and I can see myself getting a lot of use out of it, which is nice because I wasn't expecting to love it.
Stila Convertible Colour in Peony.
Although peony doesn't look like the most exciting colour in the pan, I think it looks stunning on. It's one of those colours I would reach for either on those days where I want a really minimal, neutral look or if I was going for a beautiful smokey eye & nude lip. It's a very natural rose with a touch of brown, very reliable and very wearable.
Stila Convertible Colour in Gerbera.
Gerbera is so beautiful it looks amazing with pretty much any make up look. I reach for this on minimal make up days and on days when I really fancy wearing a bright lip and lots of mascara. It just seems to work, giving a hint of something and helping to sculpt my face a little, but it's never overpowering. Just beautiful.
Stila Convertible Colour in Rose.
Rose is everything I hoped it would be. To me it looks a little scary in the pan, if I saw it on a counter I wouldn't be immediately drawn to it if I didn't already know how blendable the convertible colour formula is. But this is a colour that I'm hoping I'll be able to pull off with the right look, I'm thinking a nude lip, lashings of mascara and a touch of this on the apples of my cheeks.
Stila Convertible Colour in Petunia.
If I could describe this colour in one word I would have to choose lovely. It's a beautiful blend of peach, coral and pink that I can already tell I'll be reaching for a lot during the Spring & Summer. It's the kind of colour that just makes me feel happy inside when I look at it. It's strawberry ice cream and cupcakes in a blush. Very pretty!

One of the best parts is these work really nicely on the lips too - if you have slightly drier lips like me then make sure you pop on a good lip balm underneath, but they make wonderful lip colours & they feel really comfortable to wear too.
If you like cream blush then I think you need this palette - it's a beauty!
Have you tried any of the Stila Convertible Colours before?
Love, Jennie

I'm in ore of this palette! I want one, as I haven't had the chance to try any of the Convertible Colours in the past! I agree about the packaging, I'd been inclined to depot it!

DeleteI would love to try a couple of the Stile convertible colours! I swatched a couple of them some months ago in Preston but I couldn't afford them at the moment.
ReplyDeleteThe palette is actually a good deal: what prevents me from purchasing it is that I fear for expiration date of cream products. Bit paranoid I know!

They're pretty long lasting <3
