Ralphie + Carrot.
It happened.
Last week, at the age of three and a half, little Ralphie finally tried a piece of carrot.
And he decided that carrots are actually really yummy and he wishes that he'd tried them earlier.
This was the same week he decided he also quite likes fennel...
Posh bunny!
But I'm noting this moment down and remembering it forever because it turns out perseverance does pay off after all. So any future children who refuse to eat their vegetables...I won't give up until you do!

Typical boy ;)
DeleteHaha aww Ralphie! Is he a picky eater then? Our guinea pigs will inhale anything resembling a vegetable like we've been starving them for years!

Aww :(
DeleteBarney's favourite food is fennel but he didn't like carrots in the beginning :) He eat's everything except for zuccini now, which I dont blame him for - it doesnt really have a nice taste. What he doesn't do is DRINK WATER which is sort of weird. He doesn't like it from a pot, he doesn't like it from a puddle, he doesn't like it from a plate. He will sip on cold peppermint or fennel tea, but he won't even lick on water. He gets half a cucumber a day to make up for it. He's almost four. He has never had a drop of water. Isn't that weird? :D But he's alive and healthy and cute as can be. As is Ralphie without carrots. Good for him he's overcome his fear though haha!
ReplyDeleteAll the best :)
Oh gosh, they can be such funny little things! xo
