+ Read The Luminaries. All eight hundred and thirty four pages of it. It is time...
+ Write more. I found a beautiful notebook in TKMaxx, but I've been neglecting it.
+ Work harder on The Book Journal - thank you so much if you have already subscribed!
+ Make time, once a week, for a bubble bath. Complete with candles and everything!

Now Playing: Amy Winehouse - Teach Me Tonight
You really cannot beat a weekly bubble bath - we're looking at a rental house soon which house no bath, only a shower, but everything else is perfect. Still quite upset about it!

A really good TK Maxx find! xx
DeleteA lovely to do list! I'm aiming to write more as well but having been suffering from lack of inspiration for years now! I also try to have a bubble bath once a week it really relaxes me :)

They're super relaxing <3
DeleteAhh love the notebook, that's the Nighthawks isn't it? Good luck with the Luminaries, I found once I was properly "in" I read it very quickly; plus it's constructed so that each chapter is smaller than the one before so once you're past the (admittedly enormous) first chapter, it will only get easier :) xx
ReplyDeleteIt is, one of my favourite pieces! xx
DeleteAHHHH I need to read that book too

It's SO good! xx
DeleteI may actually go and have a bubble bath now, now that you've reminded me they exist!

DeleteAaahh, a bubble bath once a week sounds like heaven. I'm lucky if I have the time or space (mostly space - family shared bathroom) to take one, period!

DeleteBubble baths are the best. I use to have one a couple of times a week but when I moved into my own flat I switched to showers to save money. I need to treat myself more!
ReplyDeleteYou do! xx

I agree! xx
DeleteI wish baths stayed hot, I would probably stay in there all day! I find reading so much more of an effort than it used to be when I was younger, the Harry Potter deathly hallows part 2 was finished in 3 days but now it takes me three months to read something!

DeleteI started The Luminaries and I really liked it, but it had to go back to the library before I got a chance to finish it! I would love to hear what you think once you finish!
ReplyDeleteI loved it! xx
DeleteI need to make more time for bubble baths too, I feel like they're such a luxury and I don't have one often enough!

DeleteI miss baths. My rental house has only a tiny shower. CRYING. Is the book on the right the notebook you're talking about? If so IT IS BEAUTIFUL and you need to write in it IMMEDIATELY. I recently bought myself a turquoise quilted notebook (ooh la-di-da) and my life has improved 100% since owning it. True story.

Ahh it's so so good! xx
DeleteLoving your To Do list - not the type that fills you with dread at all! Such a great idea to have some quiet time in the bath once a week. And The Luminaries is on my TBR list too - it's just so huge that I think I'd have to pencil in time for it! :)
