To Do List: December | Blogmas Day Three

  • Pick out two new decorations for our Christmas tree. We forgot to do this last year and it's our only 'tradition' so we must remember this year. The year before I chose the squishy gingerbread man because I couldn't resist his sweet little nose and Mark picked the beautiful snowy village scene that's much more elegant. I think we all now know who has the better taste in this relationship!
  • To not leave the last of my Christmas shopping until the last minute and to try my very best to ensure my wrapping doesn't look like a toddler has done it with a spoon.
  • Keep up with blogmas and bookmas. I'm very good at starting things and not always so great at seeing them through, so I'm officially challenging myself to post every day until Christmas Day on both of my blogs. I have enough things I'd like to write about, it's just making the time. (And if I can carry on to the very end of the month that would be even better!)
Is there anything you would particularly like to do this month?

  1. Oh so much to do!! I've luckily finished my Christmas shopping and I have a day off work on Friday so I'm hoping to get everything wrapped too. Such a busy time of year and my friend has last minute decided to get married on 4th January and I'm bridesmaid!!

  2. I can't wait to see your Blogmas - I've decided to do it myself this month because the more I ignored my blog the harder it's been to get back into it! I hope you and Ralphie are both very well and all ready for xmas! xx

  3. Whoops - wanted to add that I love your Christmas to do, I am so festive already it actually hurts a little bit :)

  4. Those Christmas decorations are so cute! We haven't put up our tree yet, but we should be doing it soon :) Good luck with blogmas and bookmas! x

  5. An annual new Christmas tree decoration is such a lovely tradition. I started my Christmas wrapping this weekend and will try and do a bit every week so it's not all left to the last minute, I always buy such awkward presents for wrapping! xx

    1. Hehe me too, but I struggle even with square boxes ;)

  6. I'm definitely looking forward to reading your Blogmas posts! :)
I've yet to put up my decorations (fingers crossed that they'll be up later today) but I have bought and wrapped the majority of my presents so at least that's something.
I'm just really looking forward to taking it easy and spending time with family this month!

  10. Decemeber always seems to be the craziest month because there is so much to do. One of the more fun things I want to accomplish is watching all my favourite holiday films!!!

  11. I need to do to the second point as well, I always leave my Christmas shopping to the last minute and then run around like a maniac. I won't even talk about my wrapping skills, thankfully everyone around me is already used to it and they don't complain if I only put things into a festive bag :D

  12. omg that gingerbread-man is so cute! this month is crazy,i hoping to read one or two book. not quite bookmas :D Hope you're good x

  13. Awesome <3 Nice and simple list! Good luck with getting all of it done, and have tons and tons of fun doing it. Looking forward to more blogmas.

  14. I just did an actual snort of laughter on the bus at your wrapping skills - sounds like you're nearly as good as me with wrapping paper! ;)
Picking out ornaments is a lovely tradition and will be so nice to look back on in years to come :)

  15. I always leave my Christmas shopping until a few days before!! This year I have already done it! I can't guarantee that it won't look like a 2 year old has wrapped it though - I am useless with wrapping presents too! x

  16. Hope everything is going to go according to plan. You'll be so relieved when it's over. Merry Christmas. I am really enjoying your Christmas-y photography. Keep up with blogmas. <3

  17. Ahha, I'm so bad with Christmas shopping. I never know what to get anyone. The ornaments tradition is so cute, it must be fun seeing the collection grow!

  18. lovely post! cute blog...following you hun!

  19. You know what really helped me make my wrapping look less like a drunk iguana did it?
I got one of those sellotape piece dispenser thingies that you put on your wrist. For some reason it made everything so much easier and now I'm pretty impressed with my wrapping if I do say so myself! ^_^

  20. How adorable is that gingerbread man!? :) I want to keep in touch with my friends more this month....

    Tara x

  21. Oh gosh, I need to buy the rest of our gifts for family, Christmas cards, decide what to wear for my work Christmas night out and tons of other stuff... All in between house hunting, arrgh!
