After almost burning through my third little Candy Cane Lane Yankee Candle (yes, THIRD - best scent ever!) I need a bit of a change. During my new year spring clean I rediscovered Owliver the tart burner. I have Fireside Treats in there at the moment, but I'll be placing an order for all of the sweet scents very soon I think!
Boyhood.
Every time I think about it now I want to cry and I don't know why. Even the trailer nearly sets me off! It was beautiful, just beautiful.
Hero by Family of the Year.
One of my all time favourite songs, but after watching Boyhood I now can't listen to it without tearing up.
Personality Types.
I spent a couple of hours yesterday afternoon reading about different personality types. I was supposed to just be taking a quick study break, but you know how things go sometimes...I got distracted. I'm an assertive INFP and I'm fairly sure that my personality profile knows me better than I know myself.
The Silkworm by Robert Galbraith.
aka J.K Rowling. I just love her unpretentious writing style and her ability to piece together such intricate novels. I didn't guess 'who did it' even though once it was revealed it was so obvious, like it was the only possible scenario. I hope there's not too long to wait for the next one.

Zoe Newlove | A fabulous beauty blog. Zoe's personality shines through in her writing!
Tape Parade | Laila is wonderful. A creative, free spirit.
ArtCream | Ferren has an amazing charity project idea in mind, if you think you could help out, let her know!
Uncia and Tigris | Clare is so inspirational and her space is a true reflection of herself.
Happy Friday!

ReplyDeleteYou're so welcome! xo
DeleteI love Yankee candles. I would personally recommend Icicles. (There's a review on my blog) Cinnamon sticks is also good. They are both kind of cinnamon-y and a very winter-y scent. I was thinking about going for an orange scent next.
ReplyDeleteI have read those personality types before. :) They're cool but I forget which one I am. :)

ReplyDeletex
They're so accurate! Xo
DeleteThis personality test is scary! I am an INFP and to be honest I've never known what to do with my life. It always feels like everyone is trying to prove something, to 'manage' something, and work wise it feels like there is no place for our personality. somehow, reading this gave me hope that maybe the world's not such a bad place after all. :D A bit dramatic, I know, but it feels good to know that there are others like me out there as well :D
ReplyDeleteas always, keep up the good work! ;)
