- Don't lose this sense of wonder and promise that the start of a new year has brought. I know that sounds a bit silly but I'm rolling with it anyway...
- Start & finish my essay that's due early next month. It would be nice not to have to pull an all-nighter before the deadline for once!
- Make a start on scanning some of the old negatives I found recently.
- Go through my make up collection and have a bit of a declutter, there must be at least a few things in there that are past their best now.
Is there anything specific on your to-do list this month?
Jennie

I really need to declutter my make up collection too x
ReplyDeleteSophiesMakeupBlog
It's really therapeutic! xo
DeleteI need to declutter my make up collection as well. I've become a bit of a hoarder sadly. Also need to give the make up brushes a good wash too...so overdue! x
ReplyDeleteBrush washing is far too easy to put off! xo
DeleteI've recently had a makeup clear out but it seems like I already need to do another! I finally gave in and threw away products that I'd kept "just in case I might use them someday"! Good luck in clearing out yours and completing your essay.

DeleteLovely list, Jennie, especially capturing that optimistic feeling which comes with the start of a new year.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to fill my diary up with things to look forward to, and to get me through the dreariness of January, and have a bit of a clear out - our study and hall cupboard are both stuffed and I've been putting off tidying them out for ages, but I'm feeling more enthusiastic about a spot of spring cleaning now!
x
It can be so therapeutic having clear outs! xo
DeleteI'm in the same boat assignment wise! I want to start it early and get it submitted well before the due date.

I definitely will <3
DeleteI am hoping to move around March / April & so really need to de clutter my wardrobe & beauty stash. I hate having lots of half empty products on the go. So I am going to try very hard to use things up before opening anything new

Good luck lovely! xo
DeleteGood luck with your essay. It's always better to get it done sooner rather than later. I absolutely love going through my make up and seeing what new products I need. You should do a make up collection post! :)

Thank you, it really is so hopefully I'll manage to! xo
DeleteThis is a great list, I especially love the first point you made. I'm hopefully going to be doing some revision for university, even though I don't start back until March and I've got a few personal projects I need to get done ASAP!! Good luck with your list!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with yours too <3
DeleteI'd love to see the negatives, I hope you end up sharing them! The main thing for my to-do list this month is move successfully and get settled in, etc. It'll be difficult but I'm excited for the challenge. xx
ReplyDeletebigfluffycats.blogspot.com
I definitely will! Good luck with the move <3
DeleteI'd love for you to share some of those negatives! And I'm with you about decluttering makeup. I spend the entire afternoon today sorting out my wardrobes and it feels SO good to get rid of things I don't need, I definitely will be joining you on that one! x
ReplyDeleteIt's so therapeutic! xo
DeleteJennie I had a make up de-clutter on the 1st of January and it felt so good, although I was sad to throw out the Topshop Blush. I know what you mean in trying not to loose that sense of a fresh feeling with the start of the New Year, I wish I could wake up feeling like that everyday! :)

I think I work best when under pressure, does nothing for my nerves though haha xx
DeleteI'm hoping I can figure out my class schedule for my spring semester and clean up my desk and old book case (: I always try to avoid all-nighters
ReplyDeleteAashna | A Trail of Whispers
Good luck!! xx
DeleteI need to try to minimize my all-nighters as well! My work habits during the last two years of high school were horrible, so I've been trying to turn it around as I started my freshman year of college. It's been going pretty well so far in terms of not procrastinating... except for that ONE essay I never want to write... Good luck with yours, and a good thing you've started a month in advance! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's
ReplyDeleteAhh there's always one!! xx
DeleteOn my to-do list this month is read more. I got a Kindle for Christmas, so hopefully that will help :-)
ReplyDeleteAww yayy, happy reading! xo

Very therapeutic! xo
DeleteIt's funny, I was just making a to do list for the month earlier. Mine is much more boring and full of things that need to be cleaned and organised but I'm hopeful I'll feel all inspired and productive after it's done all the same.
