Joy of plants.
I'm not sure if this sounds a little silly, but having these little bursts of green around has brought me so much joy over the past couple of weeks. I've even taken to tidying things away to make more space for new plants. They have reinforced my belief in the positivity that comes from truly appreciating the little things.

Ginsberg.
I chose my last University module because Ginsberg was on the reading list (& it was the last lit module I hadn't taken apart from Shakespeare which I knew I would flunk) and although most of the text books we were given have been drier than the Sahara information wise (honestly, they're full of critics not saying anything over and over again) it's all been worth it for Ginsberg (& Chekhov, Brecht, and Du Maurier.)

Pawsome.
My Mum's pup was very happy to receive a Pawsome Box* a couple of weeks ago. He has a love for cardboard boxes anyway so to discover that the things inside were actually for him too, well, I think it made his whole week! I've been puppy sitting again and unfortunately for my concentration levels the pig that oinks is his absolute favourite toy at the moment. I keep meaning to hide it for a few days but it makes him so happy I just don't have the heart to.

Illustration.
Carly is the sweetest and drew this incredible illustration of me and I bloomin' LOVE it! Illustration Jennie has a much better fashion sense than real life Jennie & I love that I'm surrounded by so many of my favourite things. Thank you so much Carly, you're so talented!

Songs of the South.
Reginald D Hunter explores the American South through its music and it's certainly well worth a watch on iPlayer.

DeleteThe illustration is very good, I like it! I know what you mean about the plants, having a bit of green really does brighten things up. I find myself buying more and more plants, but not having anywhere to put them!
