This has quite a matte finish so I haven't tried it on my cheeks yet, but I have been really enjoying using it as a lip stain with a little clear balm over the top. It isn't one of those super dry formulas so it applies very smoothly but it can look a little heavy if I apply too much. I like to put a little on my ring finger first before smudging it into my lips. It's incredibly pigmented and seems to last for at least a couple of hours before fading slightly. I also like that it comes with a pencil sharpener, every pencil should come with one especially if they're on the chunkier side like this one.

The Body Shop Shimmer Wave in Bronze | £16
I really enjoy multi-use products and although the individual shades can be a little tricky to pick up on a brush, it's worth the extra effort. The top two shades give a really pretty pink-bronze flush to the cheeks, the copper and bronze are beautiful eyeshadow colours, and the golden highlight shade at the bottom looks very pretty on the inner corners and on top of the cheekbones. It's also incredibly pigmented so a little goes a long way.

Kiko Sunproof Cream Foundation in Very Light* | £13.90
Okay, so I have this in the lightest shade and it's definitely not 'very light'. I'm around an NC15 and there's no way I would be able to use this as a foundation. Instead I've been using it as a cream bronzer, putting a little on my cheeks and up on to my temples and it's been warming up my complexion really nicely. This may become a summer staple!
What have you been reaching for the most during May so far?

Me neither, very light is very orange on me! x
DeleteI think the one product that I have been reaching the most so far this month is my Bourjois 123 CC cream. I'm getting close to finishing the tube that I have and trying to stop myself before I buy 3 more of it.
ReplyDeleteOoh I've heard really good things about that! ox
DeleteThat's a fantastic idea to use the foundation as a bronzer! I haven't been able to try any cream bronzers but I feel like they would work so well for my skin since it's very dry. Lovely collection :)

I really wanted to find a way to make it work for me, since there's no way I can get away with it as a foundation. I haven't tried a cream bronzer before either, but this seems to be working pretty well :)
