There will be quite a few empties posts over the coming weeks, but here's the first!
Aromatherapy Associates Support Lavender & Peppermint Bath and Shower Oil
This was something I finished on the night before I had to submit my final University assignment. I have a lot of love for Aromatherapy Associates oils, they're very luxurious and I easily get four baths out of these tiny travel sized bottles.
Odylique Balancing Citrus Super Tonic
I enjoy facial mists, but I find that I have very little to say about them after I've finished them. This was very refreshing and the citrus scent was the perfect pick me up on early mornings. It was nice, and although it promises to do a lot more than a simple face mist, it doesn't surpass my love for the Avene Thermal Water.
Burberry Body Fragrance
I'm not very easily pleased when it comes to fragrances. This one was really nice, not too strong, not too sweet, but I don't love it enough to buy a full bottle.
Kerastase Cristalliste Luminous Perfecting Conditioner
Probably one of the nicest conditioners I've ever used. It's brilliantly hydrating, without leaving my hair feeling heavy or looking greasy. You know when those beautiful ladies are swishing their perfectly shiny locks around in hair product adverts? That's how I felt after using this!
Sass Intimate Perfect Skin Concentrate*
So I haven't tried this on the area it's intended to be used, but I put some on the back of my hand and oh my goodness this stuff is sticky. Like really sticky. I've seen some really positive reviews, but it's not for me.
Claudia Louch Mineral Mud Mask*
This mask is a whopping £52 and it's really nice, don't get me wrong, but if I had that amount of money to invest in a skincare product, I think I'd rather go for a really nice serum or moisturiser.
l'Occitane Ultra Rich Shower Cream
Lovely! If I were an expensive shower gel person I'd definitely purchase a big bottle, especially during the winter time because it's really nourishing.
Do you prefer having a small stash of beauty products, or do you love trying new things and having a lot of choice?

It's lovely, I can see why it's a favourite! x
DeleteHey Jennie, just dropping in to say I love the new logo! Very inviting. But I loved your earlier 'about me'...you know the funny one about how Jennifer makes you feel you're in trouble? It was sweet and personal. Loving the way the blog has grown over time. Stay lovely, always.

Thank you - I'll go back to that one! x
DeleteYou're doing well Jennie! It can be hard to use products up but it's a shame when they go to waste so it's usually worth it :) I sometimes find random products in drawers and then wonder why I'd forgotten about them because they're actually lovely! xxx
ReplyDeleteDefinitely worth using them up for that feeling of accomplishment! xx
DeleteI love the sound of the Kerastase conditioner, you can't beat swishy hair! In an ideal world I'd have a smaller collection of things I use all the time but in reality I'm a hoarder - I have a bit of a 'just in case' mindset xx
ReplyDeleteToasty
I have that too, I'm trying not to hold on to things I don't use because I might want to one day. That day never seems to come hehe xx
DeleteYou have definitely made me desperate to try the Kerastase conditioner. It sound so amazing!

Definitely recommend! xx
DeleteI'd like to try the L'occatine cream at some point!
ReplyDeleteIt's really nice <3
DeleteI agree, I'd rather spend my money on serums than a mask. Great empties!

DeleteI love finishing products - I have far fewer beauty products than I used to and definitely prefer having a small collection of things I actually use! x
ReplyDeleteLilyLipstick
I'm excited to get to that point! x
DeleteI've come to a bit of a standstill with finishing up products to be honest. I need to get back on it as its so satisfying!
